Scope: The Quality Assurance Specialist II will be responsible for the document control system, Device History Record - Review and Release and support of the learning management system. Additionally, the QA Specialist II will support the quality systems by assisting in complaint handling, CAPAs, non-conformances, and internal auditing.
Responsibilities:
May include some or all of the following:
* Understands and adheres to Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485, and Safety requirements.
* Batch Record (Device History Record) Reviews and Product Release
* Maintain documentation functions to ensure documents are processed, reviewed and approved in a timely manner to meet established timeline.
* Support in maintaining and adhering to compliance requirements for established quality system programs.
* Organize and maintain the complaint handling files.
* Assist with non-conformance/deviation recording.
* Assist with CAPA recording and closure
* Assist lead auditor with internal compliance audits.
* Assist with external audits.
* Generation of quality data trending.
* Maintain the Learning Management System.
* Participating in project teams and completing QA related projects as required.
Education / Experience:
* Bachelor's degree with 3 - 5 years' experience, preferred.
* Ability to Work on multiple assignments and projects.
* Uses considerable good judgment skills to trouble shoot, make recommendations and rectify nonconformity's situations.
* Experience working in a regulated environment; and familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA and European medical device requirements.
* Work under general supervision.
Skills / Pre-requisites:
* Highly customer focused
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Ability to deal with conflicts and stressful situations
* Knowledge of a QSR and ISO requirements.
* Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Catsweb
