We are hiring an Events Manager to join our growing events team. The Events Manager should have 3-5 years of meeting planning experience, a love for special event management, provides outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with clients.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage all aspects of the meeting planning / logistics including but not limited to
* Locating appropriate venues
* Negotiating and reviewing contracts
* Budget Management
* Preparing BEOs and working with venue to ensure implementation
* Menu development - Audiovisual management
* Meeting room setup - Managing room blocks
* Planning special events - etc
* Management of Speakers and Sponsors
* Liaise with internal cross functional teams, vendors, etc. in budgeting and coordinating all aspects of logistics/operations prior to the event
* Travel onsite as needed
* Work closely with other departments team to ensure all timelines and budgets are met and materials (signage, welcome letters, etc) are developed
Requirements
* 3-5 years meeting planning experience
* Strong organizational skills
* Excellent communication skills, including writing, proof reading skills, and speaking.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments
* Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism.
* Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision.
* Strong record of customer service
* Ability to travel
