Experienced business intelligence analyst to work on business challenges and strategies related to supplier spend analytics, customer service levels and product pricing. The focus of the project is to reduce business costs, compare supplier spend and efficiencies, focus on historical results and model the future strategies and work with large sets of data.
Job Role:
- Create innovative algorithms behind a variety of projects ranging from optimization of supplier spend, BOM analysis and end to end supply chain costs.
- Good understanding of supply chain concepts and ability to develop models that highlight the cost of the SLAs.
- Perform ad hoc statistical, data mining, trending, and machine learning analysis on complex business problems
- Strong experience in creating Tableau Dashboards and Executive level presentations
- Collaborate and work closely with various Suppliers, Business, IT and Marketing teams
- Develop and design advance predictive analysis models using R or SAS
- Be willing to learn: Develop expertise in areas outside of core comfort zone and learn from experienced members of the team.
Responsibilities:

- Have the ability to quantify and measure impacts of solutions
- Understand, categorize, organize, and interpret heterogeneous data sets.
- Design experiments, test hypotheses, and work with prototypes and models.
- Be involved in the transition from prototyping to production.
- Have the ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and QA teams.
- Ability to communicate results and progress internally and externally in meetings, presentations and technical talks,
- Ability to communicate at a practitioner level as well as at a senior-executive level.
- Having experience in Telecom is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Maths, Electronics, Statistics
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA/Ph.d) is a plus.
- Min 2 years data analysis related experience
- At least 1 year of experience in supply chain related areas
- Lean, Six Sigma experience is a plus
- Ability to create insightful, executive dashboards using Tableau
- Experience in using statistical modeling and distributed machine learning algorithms on large data sets.
- Proficiency in the use of statistical packages like R, Matlab is a plus
- Experience with SQL, Unix/Linux, and a scripting language such as Python, Perl or Ruby.
