Our client is seeking a User Experience Lead who will be responsible for the following:

* Recommend and drive the UX strategy and design solutions for a product based on usability, intuitiveness, consistency, delightfulness, business goals and time to market

* Delivery, quality, and success of the user experience throughout the entire lifecycle, including optimization and innovation with new features

* Work collaboratively within an Agile product team through iterative releases

* Partner with business owners, engineering managers to influence and evaluate success criteria and prioritize an efficient roadmap

* Present design methods, explorations, and tradeoff rationale along with a recommendation to team partners, business stakeholders and design leadership

* Evaluate competitive and innovative products and design approaches to identify best practices and encourage innovation

* Hold cross-product team collaboration sessions (design sprints)

This 3-month contract assignment is located in Stamford CT. Consultant must be on our W-2 payroll

Skills and Qualifications:

* Degree in a relevant field (HCI, graphic, interactive or communication design)
* Strong ability to navigate in ambiguity, react quickly and comfortably to change, and drive clarity, actions and decisions
* Advanced experience with fundamental user-centered, usability, and interaction design principles
* Advanced ability to conceive and document solutions through user flows, storyboards, wireframes, personas, prototypes, test cases, or written specifications and user stories
* Advanced ability to articulate creative interactive solutions
* Strong visual design understanding with an awareness of the impact of typography, layout and composition, color theory, grid systems and use of photography
