Environment Manager Job Description

The successful candidate will perform the role of an Environment Manager, a role that encompasses the management of the IT Infrastructure for the Supervisory Control Tool (SCT) project. A strong developer background with 8 to 12 years of overall work experience is a pre-requisite for the role.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Environment management
− Liaise between the SCT Development team and IT partners to ensure the proper management of the SCT IT infrastructure

Project Summary:
1 The goal of the program is to implement a set of foundational capabilities related to Customer Master Data Management system, Customer Preference Capture system and Customer Analytics Platform/Service by leveraging the learnings from prior implementation in other markets. Manage all activities related to customer master, customer preferences and Analytic services.
2 On the customer master and customer preferences, integration with partners.
3 Assist the program management team to compile statuses on the projects that are related to Customer@Center (navigator, digital detailing, customer master, customer preferences and analytic services).

My client, a multinational education conglomerate, seeks to hire a Customer Service Excellence Director.

Overview
 
The Directorship is a new position. The ideal candidate will have experience with change management in a customer service/call center capacity and will be fluent in the latest customer service technologies. 

Responsibilities

 The Director, who will have between 4 and 5 director reports, and 30 and 35 indirect reports, will be responsible for:

* The center̢۪s excellence in customer service for technology, tools, training, business analytics and quality control across business units in North America.
* Leadership of the following functions supporting customer service: tools and technology, business analytics, quality control, and training for customer service operations.
* Incorporation of industry best practices in the form of process, technology, tools, and analytics.
* Driving program to a common technology and tools backbone.
* Driving integration with technical support organization for technology/tools.
* Driving coordination and testing for proprietary software changes and technology projects as defined in roadmap.
* Managing self service, clean order and digital ingestion projects across businesses and regions.
* Developing and delivering training programs across businesses and process areas, including scalable web based training.
* Defining and delivering common quality control methods across process areas.
* Managing and delivering reporting of metrics and customer analytics to business leaders.
* Interpreting and identifying implications of data.
* Deploying workforce management program and protocols and day to day tracking across retained and third party (outsourced) functions.
* Maintaining common knowledgebase across all businesses.
* Partnering with corporate technology team to align IT strategy.
* Working with finance manager to deliver and adhere to budgets,

Qualifications

Skills/knowledge/abilities

* 10+ years of experience utilizing the tools and technology associated with running customer service operation.
* Widespread knowledge of customer service tools and technology, including customer relationship management programs.
* Strong technical and analytical skills, constantly evaluating new tools and technology for optimization of the customer experience.
* Solid understanding of business operations and their interaction with customer
service.
* Previous experienced working with outsourced operations is desirable.
* Strong capability in the area of quality assurance and control.
* Ability to identify trends and recommend proactive measures.
* Demonstrated ability to track and direct multiple priorities.
* Experience in the delivery of scalable customer service training across multiple geographic locations.

Compensation

Salary Range: $150,000+

Plan, execute and manage projects within the defined scope, cost and schedule.
