About the Job
You will be responsible for gathering business requirements, evaluating alternative solutions, and for facilitating the implementation of technology solutions and related procedures.
Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
* Evaluate and document existing business systems and needs.
* Document specific functionality requirements.
* Perform gap analysis between existing and available systems and needs.
* Consider alternative solutions for filling gaps, and make recommendations.
* Conduct demonstration of proposed (in documents and images) and then actual systems functionality to stakeholders based upon requirements gathered and documented.
* Define related projects and sprint scope.
* Evaluate produced technology against requirements.
* Document produced system functions and features.
* Evangelize and train stakeholders on new functionality.
Characteristics of the successful candidate include:
* Minimum two years business systems analysis or similar experience
* Direct communicator
* Knowledgeable about and can explain an effective systems development lifecycle process that he/she has participated in that helped achieve project success
* Determined to understand business and user needs and design solutions supporting those needs
* Detail-oriented
* Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to present information to a group
* High energy level
* Strong sense of urgency
* Effective organizational and follow-up skills
