Position Responsibilities – Summary

My client has an immediate need at their Boston location for an experienced
Software Implementation Project Manager. In this position, you will be the
primary interface between the firm and their customers in all matters
related to their software deployments, upgrades, and other types of
services.

Reports to the VP of Professional Services.

Detailed Responsibilities:

· Primary contact for customers; understands and manages customer
expectations and business needs; building and sustaining positive
relationships.

· Participate in defining project scope, estimating budgets and
contract development as required.

· Develop and manage project schedules including resource plans.

· Direct business analysts, software engineers, and technical and
non-technical staff in the installation, integration, modification, and
enhancement of large-scale and complex enterprise software applications.

· Track and monitor the progress of all functional areas throughout
the implementation process.

· Ensure on-time achievement of project milestones and deliverables,
delivering your projects according to schedule, within budget, and
profitably.

· Ensure accurate reporting of time and materials expended on
projects to internal management and the customer.

· Provides timely written and/or verbal communication regarding
project status to internal and Customer Management team.

· Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, customer-driven
environment.

· 25% travel required.

Required Skills and Competencies:

· Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of demonstrated successful
project management experience for a software vendor.

· PMP certification preferred.

· Strong appreciation of business issues and a comprehensive
understanding of software and information technology.

· Project budget management experience is essential, with experience
in moderate- to high-revenue projects.

· Demonstrated expertise in communicating with executive sponsors
with excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels of senior
management.

· Prior experience managing customized enterprise software
implementations involving data conversion preferred.

· Prior experience at an insurance company or in insurance-related
applications is highly desirable, along with customer-facing software vendor
experience.

· Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a
team.

· Superior oral and written communication skills, presentation
skills, and excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills, at all
levels of the organization, as required.

· Must be an excellent multi-tasker, able to handle multiple
priorities and projects.

Position Responsibilities - Summary

The Business Continuity Manager (BC) is responsible for developing,
maintaining, and managing the company's business continuity program. The
manager will support all activities necessary to enable the company to
respond to a business interruption. The BC Manager creates and implements
plans to keep The Bank functioning after disruptive events such as natural
disasters, terrorism, and pandemic viruses.

Reporting to the Vice President, Enterprise PMO, the BC Manager will work
closely with the Bank's businesses units (including facilities, information
technology and information security) to define continuity requirements,
design contingency strategies, develop recovery plans, and implement the
preparations necessary to ensure that the organization's essential services
are able to maintain operation or rapidly recover in the event of serious
adverse circumstances.

Detailed Responsibilities:

· Develops and implements the overall enterprise business continuity
strategy

· Coordinates all business units on the creation and maintenance of
business continuity plans

· Oversees the planning, coordination, and scheduling of business
continuity exercises to validate plans, requirements and overall readiness

· Works to defined the requirements (identify, document, and plan)
for business continuity requirements as they affect IT disaster recovery
planning including defining requirements for high availability solutions for
critical applications or services that cannot tolerate system down time.

· Formulates processes, procedures and tools for Crisis Management

· Develops and maintains all enterprise Business Continuity
policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines

· Conduct risk assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of existing
business continuity plans and preparations and determine the impact of
proposed changes to business processes, applications and systems. Develop
recommendations to mitigate risks through the appropriate use of technical,
procedural, and administrative controls in accordance with legal and
regulatory requirements and established industry best practice.

· Works directly with business areas to lead the preparation and
maintenance of business impact assessments, recovery plans, procedures and
preparations. Act as an advocate and liaison between business and technical
areas to ensure that recovery requirements and issues are identified and
effectively addressed.

· Establish an ongoing training program to ensure employee awareness
of their Business Continuity responsibilities. Ensure all personnel with
specific Business Continuity responsibilities are adequately trained to
fulfill those responsibilities.

· Maintain contact with appropriate city, county, state, and federal
emergency organi­zations that may be involved during a recovery effort.
Establish and maintain contacts with critical vendors that may be required
to provide support during a recovery effort.

· Provide leadership for any emergency that may require activation
of all or part of the Business Continuity plans. In the event that
activation is required, provide leadership and support to assist the Crisis
Management team (i.e. senior management) and the business unit recovery
teams.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge/Skills

· Extensive knowledge of business continuity, disaster recovery, and
contingency planning principles, strategies and best practices with
practical experience in developing and maintaining business continuity plans
and procedures, conducting business impact assessments, and organizing and
overseeing business continuity exercises.

· Proficient with crisis management best practices

· Significant project management expertise

· Articulate and persuasive leader capable of working comfortably
across all levels of the organization, managing cross functional teams,
exerting influence when necessary, and effectively communicating business
continuity concepts to technical and non-technical staff, vendors and
customers.

· Self-motivated, strategic thinker capable of tackling complex
problems and influencing cross-functional teams

· Solid understanding of methodology driven SDLC processes

Education

· Bachelor's degree in business or technical field of study

· Certification in Business Continuity planning preferred

Experience

· Experience in the banking or financial services field preferred

· Five plus years of experience in creating, implementing, and
maintaining enterprise-wide business continuity plans

· Experience in business impact analysis (BIA)

· Experience administering LDRPS (Living Disaster Recovery Planning
System) or similar solutions preferred

· Thorough understanding of RPO (recovery point objective) and RTO
(Recovery Time Objective) concepts, best practices and solutions
