The Company:Our client is a leading technology-consulting firm focused on product lifecycle management, web experience management and managed services. Founded over 25 years ago, the company has experienced 30% growth year over year for the last 5 years, and has currently over 100 employees serving customers around the globe. The company is looking to hire its first Senior Vice President of Sales in a newly developed position. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a senior management role, with a broad background in sales leadership, alliance strategies and marketing programs. The candidate will be a passionate leader with a proven track record of developing and managing a team of professionals.
As part of the executive leadership team, the SVP in this position will be given an entrepreneurial opportunity in a rapidly growing company.
Role & Responsibilities: Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Vice President of Sales is part of the executive management team, responsible for all sales related activities. You will play an instrumental role in developing corporate strategy, development of new customers and market segments, and setting and executing the revenue goals. You will be responsible for the management and development of the sales team, currently consisting of 13 professionals, including the VP of Technical Sales. It is your responsibility to drive the sales team's success and ensure that the corporate vision is executed on. You will work with a newly formed marketing group to develop the programs necessary to support and achieve the sales goals, and potentially will take over the development and leadership of this team.

· C-Level experience developing alliances with major market players
· Demonstrable experience in selling to all levels within a company, including C-levels
· Experience defining marketing programs supporting sales goals
· Experience in developing and managing a team of professionals
· Experience in working in a fast-paced and challenging growth environment
· Successful Track Record – able to evidence successful transactions and achievement of quota
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· International experience is a definite plus
