This is an exciting opportunity that requires a process oriented individual with strong vendor management background combined with excellent relationship building, analytical and organizational skills. The tasks will include but are not limited to the responsibilities listed below
Build good working relationships with various groups such as Legal, GBTS Vendor Management, Vendor Governance Council, IT
Directors, IT Financial Managers and Vendor Reps.
· Interface with team members of with various internal and external partners that support the operation of IT Vendor Management.
· First point of escalation for vendor related issues.
· Coordinate and facilitate the contract approval process from initiation to final signature.
· Maintain repository of all contracts within Group Insurance IT.
· Produce and report vendor metrics around SLA, Attrition, Spend and Strategy Compliance.
· Maintain and forecast the payment schedule for SW / HW/ Maintenance contracts.
· Track and update forecast for SW / HW/ Maintenance contracts.
· Coordinate and facilitate end to end to process for new vendor on boarding and existing contract changes.
· Responsible for GI IT Invoice Approval and maintain invoice repository.
· Build streamlined processes to optimize VM functions. Ad hoc tasks as needed
Qualifications: ·
· 5 years experience in Vendor Management space.
· Experience developing reporting and presentations.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Ability to host calls with senior managers and engage participation for resolution routing.
· Familiarity with existing process and internal systems preferred.
· Ability to think creatively and contribute to strategic decisions.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to be aggressive contributor to delivery focused teams; highly motivated, team player, self starter.
· Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to understand business functions and processes quickly.
· Ability to work with a virtual team.
Minimum Education and Experience
· Minimum Bachelor'
Strong MS Office suite skills (Access, Excel, Power Point, Project, Word and VISIO).
