Role Description:
The Project Manager will oversee the review and documentation for all data center facilities infrastructure, support and maintenance contracts associated with the iNJ OIT is in need of a PM will oversee the review and documentation of all data center facilities infrastructure, support and maintenance contracts associated with the infrastructure, internal work procedures and current maintenance schedules and contracts. This has been partially completed to date.
Years of Relevant Experience: 5 -7
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Role Description:
The Project Manager will oversee the review and documentation for all data center facilities infrastructure, support and maintenance contracts associated with the infrastructure, internal work procedures and current maintenance schedules and contracted work activities.
This PM must also function as a business analyst developing recommendations for any gaps in the "As Is" processes and tasks with recommendation for improved processes based on recommended data center facilities best practices.
Additionally, Data Center experience is required. Key responsibilities will be to:
- Perform the detailed analysis and assessment to suggest best sustainability practices and recommendations while adhering to project milestone target dates.
- Provide status/progress reports at defined intervals to an OIT designee.
- Work with the Contract Analyst/Business Analyst and the Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist to produce the following deliverables :
1. Written summary of the status of all data center facilities (HUB, Bldg. 15 and Hamilton) infrastructure equipment including origins, functionality, normal operating performance and current status of operation.
2. Written summary of contracts supporting facility infrastructure systems (Fire suppression, uninterruptible power supply-including battery stores, onsite backup power generation, heat and cooling systems and identification of other facility assets that pose risk to operations) including services provided under contract, service gaps identified and assessment of services performed by current and former providers for the past 24 months.
3. Written summary of contacts and information sources contributing to the assessment.
4. Written recommendations/summary of facility infrastructure and contract findings with process and service improvement opportunities.
Candidate must have Strong Written and Verbal Skills.
