Job Description
Our client is seeking a Vice President of Finance who will oversee all areas of Finance and provide direction regarding company objectives, policies, and financial results of the company.
 
Qualifications
* Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
* Partner with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare operational financial reports, forecasts, and similar financial ad hoc reports.
* Provide financial analysis to CFO
* Create budgets and forecasts for upcoming period(s) and year(s)
* Produce weekly and monthly reports on volume, sales, realization, and other key performance indicators
* Manage, direct, and coordinate the monthly closing cycle i.e., updating files, numerous accruals and adjusting entries, in order to have a timely, accurate and complete representation of our financial results.
* Manage and contribute to the post closing operational analysis in order to identify/evaluate variances and providing narratives on those variances.
* Using the existing Operational Excellence structure, develop a roadmap for improvement for the Finance Organization
* Work closely with IT to generate improvements of data flow, systems, tasks, and processes to speed results of the Finance Team and provided all needed data on a timely basis.
 
Requirements
* Bachelors Degree required; Masters in Accounting/Finance preferred.
* CPA/CMA a must
* Multi-site experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in Distribution and Transportation
* Corporate experience
* Proven track record in continuous improvement
* Prefer experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
* Prefer 3PL or High Volume Distribution experience
* 15+ years in Finance and Accounting
 
Compensation
$150,000 - $200,000
Relocation
