About the Position:

The purpose of this role is to provide project management for onboarding
new customers as well as upgrades to existing Advanced Recovery Services
customer accounts, interacting
with implementation and operational support teams. The onboarding of
new customers is the first experience that the customer has with SunGard
Advanced Recovery Services and their supporting teams.

 

Responsibilities

· Develop and manage project plans for customer implementation projects

· Establish project scope with customer and manage implementations to
ensure on-time delivery

· Manages complex projects/programs from design and development to
production

· Define requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment through
coordination of project kickoff

· Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation

· Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning

· Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals and milestones

· Directs and oversees project engineering team and manages conflicts
within group

· Performs team assessments and evaluations

· Efficiently identifies and solves project issues

· Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk

· Design and maintain technical and project documentation

· Work with Central Operations Complex Technical team in the
implementation of the customer's technical solution

· Ensure contract compliance by raising appropriate issues to Account
Executives and Sales Managers, ensuring all services noted in contract
are delivered in a timely fashion,
and contract has been approved by Legal

· Gather technical requirements from customer for system/application
installation

· Participate in Design Review meetings – provide feedback on technical
feasibility of proposed solution

· Develop and maintain effective implementation plans

· Coordinate effective project planning meetings

· Coordinate and facilitate project kick off meetings

· Coordinate and facilitate weekly status meetings with client and
implementation team

· Document and track open issues for client and project team

· Assist in the directing of activities of the implementation team

· Maintain new business transition document project artifacts by
ensuring all client information/documentation is stored in central
repository, and client folders are up
to date and contain correct data

 

Requirements and Preferred Requirements

· Program/Product Managers require scheduling and budgeting experience.

· Demonstrated experience in managing large IT projects such as
application deployment, datacenter consolidations, or with managed
hosting or outsourcing service provider.

· Strong analysis skills, ability to evaluate customer requirements and
modify existing solution

Location: Branchburg, NJ
 
Job Description: 
Network Engineer - Lab

Responsibilities:

Lab Management:

Lead all cabling and management connectivity for new devices

Run cabling and assist the Design Engineers in building out various topologies for lab testing

Assist Security team with connectivity and testing needs

Request additional IP addressing if needed

Assist in troubleshooting connectivity issues

Maintain, administer and support directional lab and lab testing OAM tools

Administrative

Keep inventory of the stock room up to date( and neat)

Maintain the LAB web page

Maintain inventory levels of SFPs, patch cords(various lengths and types) that are needed for testing

Shipping and receiving of anything to or from the lab

Work with Design Engineers to order equipment from Telecommunication the warehouse

Qualifications:

Minimum Associate's Degree required

Experience with Cisco and Juniper equipment

Hands on experience with:

Switching vlans, trunking, spanning tree, layer3 SVIs

Routing- BGP, OSPF

Experience with network management protocols:

SNMP, Sylsog, Radius, Netflow, Packet Capture technologies

Experience with upgrading Cisco or Juniper devices

Experience with console servers

Experience with cabling(copper and fiber MM,SM) patching systems, SFPs, GBIC, etc

Entry level Linux experience is a plus

CCNA or JNCIA is a plus

Proficient in:

Excel, Visio, Power point at the very least

 
Primary Skill Requirement   Experience with cabling(copper and fiber MM,SM) patching experience with Cisco and Juniper equipment
