Sr. Director, Sales (Buy Side).
Investment Management Solutions firm. New York, NY. Req.: Significant sales experience in buy side industry; prime brokerage sales experience is a plus. Our client is a leading provider of investor communications and technology-driven-solutions to banks, broker-dealers, mutual funds, and corporations globally. This position is with a business unit providing next-generation investment management solutions, reference data and risk solutions to the buy side industry, including hedge funds, asset management firms, and fund administrators. Key responsibilities: · Priority focus on driving new revenues by leveraging existing and developing new buy side relationships directly with Hedge Funds, Asset managers and channel partners in the Prime Brokerage and HFA space. The goal is to understand prospective clients' current front, middle and back office technology and operational needs in order to determine the most effective way to perform the required sales tasks. · Create new revenue opportunities and cross selling for additional revenues. · Partner with Relationship Management personnel that cover the existing PB and FA relationships and bring in Product SMEs to help close business. · Understand clients' strategic objectives and how the company can partner. Additional responsibilities: · Develop, organize and maintain a centralized database on assigned target accounts, including pipeline opportunities, contact management, leading and tracking campaigns for new services. · Work closely with all business units to ensure the flow of information on new sales opportunities, upcoming resigns and any significant issues. · Develop strategic sales plan around the identification for specific accounts. · Identify new business prospects to establish business partner opportunities, including cold calling activities, leveraging, and internal relationships. Market services and products to these new clients. Complete all aspects of the sales process. Requires high-level interaction with senior management at the prospective client site and within the company. · Maintain constant awareness of current and planned development of products and keep clients abreast of product information. · Provide management with all requested sales reports and supporting correspondence. · Attend trade shows, conferences, and industry-related events to help strengthen existing client relationships, develop new ones, remain current on industry issues, increase awareness of competitive offerings, and promote company products and services. Desired Skills & Experience · Extensive sales experience in the buy side industry. · Detailed knowledge of product requirements of buy side institutions, including OMS, Portfolio · Management, Pricing, and Reference Data. · Prime Brokerage sales experience a plus. · Ability to take a consultative sales approach to problem-solving with prospective clients. · Strategic selling skills. · Demonstrated ability to achieve sales quotas. · Excellent presentation and communication skills. · Membership in multiple industry organizations. · The ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. · Ability to travel (30%). Summary
Our client is seeking an Application Security Lead who will be the
Subject-matter expert and program leader for the security of the entire
application landscape that includes internally developed applications,
off-the-shelf applications and hosted/cloud/SaaS platforms. This new role
will be responsible for building a mature program from inception through
delivery. This involves, among other duties: setting policy, process and
standards; continuous process improvement; security-related code review;
application testing, Web App Firewall advisory and review, audit of
externally hosted services; identifying requirements required to build the
program and mentoring technical resources to ensure that ensure security is
built into each layer of the systems lifecycle..
This fulltime employee opportunity is located in the Cheshire, CT area
Education
. Must have minimum of a BS in Computer Science, Computer Information
Systems, or an equivalent combination in education and work experience.
. Security-related certifications are strongly recommended, e.g.,
SANS (GWEB, GWAPT, etc.); ISC2 (CISSP); ISACA (CISA/CISM).
Qualifications
. Must have a minimum of 10 years working experience in IT, with at
least 5 of those years focused on information security in a leadership role.
. Must have sound working knowledge of all areas of application
development and software/systems lifecycle.
. Must have excellent customer service skills and experience in a
professional service environment, supporting multiple applications and
network environments.
. Hands-on experience with application and security testing tools.
. Experience with industry-standard risk management and information
security frameworks, such as ISO 27001/27002 or BSIMM/OpenSAMM.
. Experience with cryptographic standards and implementation across
the data landscape is strongly preferred.
. Experience with securing extranets and external customer portals is
strongly preferred.
Additional qualifications:
. Hands-on experience with industry standard application security
testing tools and various authentication mechanisms
. Hands-on experience with an enterprise vulnerability management
solutions,
web application firewalls, proxies or other similar solutions.
. Experience with compliance-related concerns across multiple
geographies (SOX, FDA, EMA, HIPAA, etc.) in a global enterprise environment.
. Experience with risk assessment methodologies and applicability to
hosted services.
. Experience working in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments is
preferred.

Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Manager, Information Systems Owner who will
be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, availability,
privacy, auditability and accountability of the company's Information
Systems and related data that is utilized to perform Recovery Audit
Services. The System Owner partners with the Business/IT Organization and
the Information Security Office to ensure that all applications are
designed, developed and maintained in accordance with NIST standards, HIPAA
regulations and CMS security controls.
Major responsibilities: Develop, maintain and update the System Security
Plan; Identify, implement, and assess Security Controls & Requirements;
Implement Security Policy and ensure that system users and support personnel
receive the requisite security training.

Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Subject Matter Expertise with security and compliance lifecycles and

* At least 8 years of proven technology integration experience with a
focused responsibility for software / database development, systems
