Overview
Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst-HIM Supervisor who will oversee the
daily operations of all HIS clerical units and will be accountable for the
timeliness, completeness and accuracy of clerical functions. . This person
will serve as the HIM system administrator for the Online Medical Record
(OMR) imaging system, provide appropriate HIM/HIS Systems training to
providers as well as troubleshoot, resolve and document HIM system issues.
This is a fulltime employee position in Danbury, CT
Skills and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree is required
* Minimum of 5-7 years job-related experience
* Knowledge and experience in clinical/hospital operations, processes
and workflows from an IT perspective.
* Must have experience implementing large-scaled integrated clinical
systems such as Soarian, OMR or Invision or similar applications.
* Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment
including Word and Excel, as well as various hospital, HIM and EMR computer
systems.
* RHIA or RHIT preferred.
* Knowledge of electronic medical systems and scanning applications
preferred.
