Our client is a leading manufacturer and marketer of residential and commercial swimming pool equipment, with strong markets in the U.S. and abroad. The company seeks a savvy and experienced consumer products marketer who can work closely with the Vice President of Marketing to raise its marketing function to the next level. The director will lead the development and execution of brand strategy and annual category marketing plans, and will act as coach and mentor to the larger organization. Major responsibilities: · Develop fact-based strategic plans and marketing investments that accelerate awareness, interest and conversion with influencers and decision-makers, including trade and consumers, across all channels. · Along with VP of Marketing, act as lead contact with advertising agency. · With Marketing Managers, construct annual marketing plans for each category. · Translate the strategy into action and mobilize execution in concert with marketing managers and product managers. · Build marketing best practices across the organization, and strengthen the role of marketing within the company. · Ensure that all marketing initiatives are aligned with the companys long-term vision and objectives. · Inspire the marketing and cross-functional teams to think strategically and creatively in support of business objectives. · Develop and mentor direct reports as well as all marketing staff in the areas of advertising and promotion, trade marketing, branding and market research. · Work with Digital Marketing Manager to further develop companys digital platform. · Provide leadership to the Marketing Department by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed to meet and exceed the goals of the Marketing plan. · Reports to the Vice President of Marketing. Qualifications: · An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is highly desired. · A minimum of 10 years of experience in progressive marketing responsibilities with demonstrated results. · An accomplished marketer and brand builder with a strong overall business orientation. Financially and operationally savvy. · A proven track record of success and the capacity to lead the development and implementation of strategic, creative and fiscally sound marketing and business building programs. · Demonstrated ability using market and business analytics and consumer insights to drive strategic planning and marketing innovation. · A change agent the successful candidate will be highly intelligent, with strong strategic acumen and an ability to assess trends and leverage analytics. · Entrepreneurial in spirit, upbeat and positive, focused on action and outcomes. · Strong cross-functional and team-building skills. POSITION: Trading Accounting Specialist
COMPANY: Financial Services ConcernLOCATION: Westchester County, NYCOMPENSATION: To $65K + BonusSUMMARY:The position incorporates a broad set of functions. Primary responsibility is the research and resolution of outstanding discrepancies between the Diversified Accounting System (DAS), Recordkeeping System (PARIS) and Fund Accountant positions. The position also involves the posting of dividends, Share Accounting functions, Employer Stock transactions, involvement in the setup of blended funds and custom portfolios and the Fund Management Calendar.REQUIRED:* Four year degree in accounting or finance required; 3-5 years investment company industry experience preferred. Transfer Agent experience is a plus.* Strong analytical and project management skills.* Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes.* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word and Windows NT. Working knowledge of Crystal Reports a plus.* Strong problem solving, time management and organizational skills required.* Ability to work independently and within a team environment with minimal management guidance.* Intermediate knowledge of transfer agent regulatory requirements under SEC rules and regulations a plus.* Ability to communicate with customers, coworkers and management in a manner that is conducive to a positive working environment.
