The next Northern Fairfield Professionals (NFP) meeting is Tuesday, May 12th from 5:30 - 8 pm.

Our guest speaker Bill Cusano will present on 'Storytelling in the Interview'.

NFP is where people meet to expand their network connections, as well as learn the tools needed to advance their careers. Business professionals from all industries and career levels are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.

The Schegg Group is seeking an Office Manager with some Human Resources experience for an established, but growing financial firm in the Stamford area. The ideal candidate will bring outstanding administrative, organizational, and communications skills to support two managing directors and manage fast paced office operations.

If you have managed meeting, teleconference and travel schedules for busy executives; know how to prioritize projects; how to keep meticulous confidential files; and how to communicate effectively at all levels - this may be the job for you!!!

RESPONSIBILITIES

This individual will serve as an executive assistant for two managing directors in addition to managing office operations for a team of twelve advisors. Must have the commitment and attention to detail to accurately process monthly Payroll through ADP; monitor quarterly and annual payroll filings, and administer 401k through Ascensus/Vanguard. Diverse tasks include:

* Serve as primary interface and coordinator with building manager, maintenance services, suppliers, and vendors.
* Manage supply inventories, service contracts, and supplier/vendor relationships.
* Provide first line of support for employees and coordinate IT Support with service providers as needed. (Including mobile phone issues)
* Monitor daily backups.
* Maintain personnel files, general liability, workers comp, insurances.
* Coordinate annual employee benefit (i.e. insurance) renewals. Assist with benefit insurance claims and coordinate workman's comp audits.
* Coordinate employee training; track employee holidays; arrange travel plans; coordinate visas and passports.
* Maintain compliance manual under direction of Chief Compliance Officer.
* Coordinate incoming and outgoing mailings and courier services.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Degree Preferred
* Strong business literacy, proficiency with efficient office operations including MS Office, and experience in executive support position within an organization
* General knowledge of compliance for SEC registered investment adviser and IT preferred.
* Experience with Benefits administration and document/file management
* Must be able to manage multiple changing calendars and priorities
* Payroll
* Ability to work independently, under pressure and confidentially
* Ability to be flexible, willingness to get job done, pleasant, positive attitude, mature
* Notary public
* General knowledge of international transaction documentation

Role Summary:

Reporting to the Global CTO, Director of Process Technology will lead the effort to introduce, harmonize and standardize, new manufacturing technology processes and improvements. The overarching mission is to enhance product quality, improve manufacturing cycle times, and enhance profitability across the 35 manufacturing sites worldwide. The Director Process Technology will need to challenge the way Axalta manufacturing sites currently operate by identifying new technologies, processes, and best practices. This will require the benchmarking of other companies to identify best in class process and technology. A second area of concentration will require the Director Process Technology to assure that Axalta manufacturing sites scale up operations effectively. This will require the introduction of standardized equipment and technologies to ensure that product batches are consistent in quality and product specification. A third area of concentration for this leader is to ensure best practice sharing across all manufacturing sites globally. It will be critical that identified best in class technologies and processes are implemented and sustained across all manufacturing sites.

The Director of Process Technology will build and manage a team of engineers responsible for developing and implementing improved processes and continuous improvement company wide.

The team's objectives are to assess, prioritize, and implement technologies needed to improve global manufacturing operations.

She/he will promote collaborative efforts and strategic partnerships with manufacturing and operations leadership to identify and introduce requisite changes in processes and manufacturing technologies needed to improve prototype through manufacturing cycle times, enhance quality, effectively scale manufacturing operations, and implement best practices.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

* Define and manage portfolio of process technology improvement opportunities.

Professional Qualifications:

* Engineering and process manufacturing engineering background with advanced degree preferred.
