Qualifications Requirements:BS Degree in Engineering and 5 years experience Experience Requirements:Minimum 5 years of related Construction Management experience. Ability to confirm that all installation work was correctly done based on approved shop drawings and technical specifications. Excellent written/verbal communication skills, knowledge of communication engineering technology including at least one of the following: UHF/VHF radio systems, wireless systems, PBX systems or fiber optic network system. Special Skills/Training Requirements:MS Office, Constructware. Familiarity with transit design standard, guidelines and operating procedures. Description of Work:· Under direct supervision, assist the construction manager's staff to oversee the contractor's work in progress to ensure that the work is performed per design documents and approved shop drawings, identity and inform contractor of deficiency or concerns in a timely manner.· Review Construction documents, supervise and provide guidance to Contractor.· Resolve Construction issues related to field conditions, inter discipline conflicts, long term maintenance issues and life cycle costs.· Act as a facilitator between the Contractor, Designers, User Departments and Maintenance groups.· Resolve field conditions in an expeditious manner and provide input/suggested solutions, obtain formal approval from design engineers when necessary.· Monitor services usage and schedules, identify any potential shortfalls and take necessary action to prevent negative impact on critical path.· Identify needs for General Orders · Initiate General Orders· Prepare daily reports, formal punch-lists, informal/running punch-lists, coordinate and confirm punch-list completion, conduct joint pre and final inspections If you are interested, please email your resume in Word format to Steve Harsanyi at srharsanyi@KOHLGROUP.COM with a brief note mapping your skills and experience to the specific requirements of this job description. Management experience is not a requirement. Qualifications/Experience · Must have: strong database design and SQL scripting skills.· 5+ years of C++, multi-threading, STL· Some experience with web development in Microsoft environments: Windows, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Java Script, MS SQL Server and/or with legacy, pre-.NET technologies: ASP, VB, COM+.· Experience working in a hectic front office trading environment· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
