Good morning Jeff wanted to run to 2 jobs by you that I have now located in Hoboken.

Job 1 Project Manager with BI

The candidate must have experience working in the BI space (data delivery) in a large corp environment running multimillion dollar projects. Strong communication skills as they will be working with the business partners as well. Insurance knowledge would be a plus.

8 to 10 years of project management experience:

· Experience in managing large scale projects ($2M+ in spend) is a MUST
· Management of agile as well as waterfall methodology-based projects.
· Status reporting (status, risk, issues, action items, etc.) to project teams as well as to senior management/governance committees.
· Management of project resources including technical and business resources.
· Experience with management of project financials – budgeting, tracking and reporting actual costs, as well as forecasting project spend.
· Management of project plans in MS Project.

Ability to work in matrixed organizations.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to interact effectively with stakeholders both in IT and the business.
Experience in delivery of BI is a must:

· Understanding of concepts and solution approaches for building applications that present data to end user via interactive dashboards and reports.
· Understanding of data and data structures needed for delivery of BI systems. Also, understanding of ETL and data manipulation.
· General understanding of technical architecture and design as it pertains to creating BI solutions.

Experience with MicroStrategy is a plus.

Experience with "big data" databases such as a Teradata or Netezza is a plus. Experience with Teradata is preferable.



Job 2 Project Manager Infrastructure

Responsibilities

Lead efforts involving work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports within time, budget and specification constraints.
Focus will be on infrastructure projects. Candidate should be familiar with DataCenter technologies and have managed projects associated with DataCenter application migrations.
Lead the design, development, and implementation of business perspective work plans to determine the required tasks and resources (process, functional, etc.) for complex projects spanning multiple business units.
Manage internal and external (vendor) resources in a matrixed mode within a distributed environment. Select and negotiate with vendors and approve vendor deliverables/payments.
Demonstrate competency in coordinating all aspects of a large, complex project involving multiple IT disciplines; coordinate projects with other on-going efforts.
Track and manage application requirements during the development lifecycle; incorporate changes to requirements through an established change management process.
Identify and anticipate risks and issues; facilitate resolution, mitigation, and appropriate escalation.
Structure program for successful execution and be able to holistically report on project progress
Experience of preparing project material and presenting to Senior Leadership representatives within the IT organization.
Hands on previously software development experience an advantage.
Experience of developing project workflow process and tracking tools also an advantage.

Qualifications

10+ years of technical infrastructure project management experience.
Must have a record of successful project implementation in a software or technology environment.
Strong experience with technical end user platform project delivery.
Ability to engage and collaborate with senior global stakeholders.
Team management experience, comfortable matrix managing project teams.
Must have excellent client facing skills and the awareness of working in a multiple cultural environment.
Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between.
Thorough knowledge of program structuring and work planning (using tools such as MS Project).
Ability to foster motivation within the project team to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to have a strong impact and influence key decisions.
Familiarity in executing projects in an onshore/offshore and global resource model.
Exposure to different delivery SDLC methodologies.
PMP / PMI certification desired.
ITIL working knowledge highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree.
