Job Description: **PER THE HM**
The desired candidate will work in the Corporate Treasury Technology team
supporting various business groups who manage the firm s investment
portfolio. The business groups supported includes portfolio management,
trading, securities finance, funding, investment operations, and investment
accounting. Our platform consists of major vendor applications for trading
and analytics, and for accounting. There are several home grown
applications for managing straight through processing, regulatory and
management reporting, and other critical functions and workflows.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will lead and perform business analysis functions for several
key projects involving critical regulatory requirements, with a focus on
collateral management.
The candidate will also lead and perform business analysis on other
projects to drive revenue growth, cost savings, and other efficiencies.
The candidate will create efficient and elegant designs working directly
with the business leads and development team.
The candidate will propose and implement innovative solutions for making
our systems more efficient, reliable, and modern.
The candidate will be responsible for some production support, mostly
during the US business day.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of related experience required. Job holder must have
experience with best-in-class methods, tools and techniques for elicitation
and documentation of internal and external client needs and associated
requirements. This includes use case modeling, business process modeling,
and formal requirements traceability techniques. S/he must be able to
analyze client requirements, monitor project progress, manage issues and
risks, identify potential roadblocks and keep projects on track. S/he must
also have prior experience producing detail-level functional or operational
requirement documentation and conducting inspections of required documents
and quality reviews. S/he must have experience in formal requirements
elicitation techniques, such as workshop facilitation with senior
stakeholders. As well, the job holder must leverage his/her industry domain
experience to assist in challenging and prioritizing the business and
client requirements. In addition to the functions above, this individual is
considered an expert in testing with formal experience in functional and
UAT test planning, test case development and execution and provides
oversight to the testing team and developers.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have the following experience,
knowledge, and skills:
Experience supporting a fixed income trading desk with knowledge of trades
secured with collateral
Computer Science degree or development background
Strong SQL skills and experience in data analysis between multiple systems
Experience with SDLC processes and methodologies and have authored
documents in the past such as business requirements documents, functional
requirements documents, high level design documents, and test plan documents
Experience working as part of waterfall, iterative, and agile project teams
Experience working closely with business product owners as well as
developers
Knowledge of various data architecture principles and designs
