Senior Systems Engineer/ Database Developer -- Full Time \ Permanent Position- Morristown Area 160-180K DOE (Must come out of Insurance Industry)

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement and enhance the data warehousing infrastructure including data architecture and standards
Work with business users to identify needs and appropriate solutions
Maintain system and user documentation
Evaluate and recommend data warehousing tools
Maintain development and user test environments as needed
Provide support for SQL SERVER production databases, including definition, load, access, backup, replication, performance tuning and capacity management
Assist in resolving data base related production problems
Work with Production DBA to implement new or expanded databases
Other tasks as assigned by the VP of Business Analytics
Required Skills
5-7 years building and supporting business intelligence infrastructures in the insurance industry
Strong technical experience in SQL SERVER and the use of stored procedures
Ability to use\learn ERWIN data designer to manage database structure changes
Excellent communication skills
Bachelors degree required preferably in Information Technology or similar major.
