I would prefer one person but two people each working part of the week would be agreeable. You will provide your own transportation. Must be reliable. I have no difficulty speaking or communicating and have no mental impairment. I am able to walk, to participate in my own care and to speak/communicate fully. My problem is that I am weakened by illness. Personal daily care includes assistance with showering and drying afterwards with a towel and dressing. The types of daily homemaking responsibilities typically would include preparing a light breakfast each morning (e.g., coffee, cereal, fruit, etc.), emptying and filling the dishwasher, making the bed and general home tasks. Feeding/giving water to a small friendly dog (16 years old) who exercises in a fenced yard and does not need to be walked.
The ideal person would be someone who understands my frustration and understands my desire to remain independent, with helping hands. Listening and a willingness to work collaboratively in accomplishing household tasks are important to developing a good working relationship with me. If you seek a position where you perform tasks with complete independence, this is not the job for you. You and I will discuss my daily, weekly and monthly needs. As practical, you will assist me in getting these basic tasks accomplished each week.
