Position: Director of Marketing / Commercial Director
Salary: Competitive | Negotiable (DOE)
Industry: Luxury Beauty/Healthcare
Location: Fairfield County
Creative, entrepreneurial management team with a solid brand and burgeoning market position seeks a "do-er" to reach their vision, continuously refine their marketing plan, grow existing channels, and bring on new national accounts. Your growth-stage entrepreneurial experience, organizational skills, and sales/marketing mindset will help this luxury beauty brand grow tenfold.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commercialize and attain the founder's vision for the product line
* Grow market share by further penetrating current channels (online and spa) and opening new (e.g. retail)
* Analyze market (segments, growth, competitors, product alternatives), deliver an actionable market plan, and execute
* Focus and coordinate Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to grow the business by keeping them on-task and on-message
* Continually refine marketing materials and approaches
* Participate in identification and development of new national accounts
* Participate in identification and development of new products
* Lead trade show and merchandising activities
Job Requirements:
* BA/MBA preferred
* 5-7 years' consumer marketing experience
* Demonstrated experience leading a growth-stage sales and marketing effort
* Luxury brand sales and marketing experience critical; health/beauty experience desirable
* Broad entrepreneurial expertise; narrow experience in a major corporation not a plus
* Solid organizational skills; "get it done in a quality manner" mindset
