Position Summary:
The Senior Income Developer will work with the Income Systems group in IT to
design, develop, and support databases and applications, which support Fixed
Income portfolio management and trading. This individual should perform
well under pressure, prioritize effectively, and enjoy working in a
fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Order management system (C# and SQL Server)
· Portfolio analytics data warehouse (C#, Ruby and SQL Server)
· Outbound SWIFT message interface (Ruby and SQL Server)
· Inbound FIX interface (C# and SQL Server)
· Analyze and resolve production system issues independently or in
conjunction with business system analysts
· Maintain and enhance the existing code for all applications within
the investment systems group domain
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Extensive knowledge of object-oriented design and programming
· Extensive experience in SQL Server programming (Transact-SQL)
· C# 3.5, .NET Framework 4.0, Entity Framework, and LINQ
· Ruby, code generation, and DSL's
· Relational data modeling
· Data warehousing and ETL
· Crystal Reports
· Version control software (particularly Subversion)
· Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to
communicate with non-technical investment professionals
· Familiarity with investment, fixed income and financial markets
preferred
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Math, Engineering,
or Sciences preferred

Position Summary:
The Income Systems team is responsible for the all technology that supports
fixed income portfolio management and risk management. This includes the
project management and support for all in-house developed systems and third
party applications, with high standards of security and reliability.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Provide front-line functional and technical application support
for Income portfolio management and trading systems
· Have detailed knowledge of all business flows, the application
architecture and the hardware configuration for supported applications
· Respond to user inquiries, investigate and resolve system issues
or performance problems, escalate when necessary.
· Log and track all user related issues, defects, enhancements and
work requests
· Debug, fix and resume batch processing or scheduling problems
· Manage system configuration
· Manage user setup and permissioning
· Light programming/scripting
· Maintain business continuity / disaster recovery regimens and
oversee annual testing
· Application release management
· Modification and enhancement of daily jobs / processes
· Assist with application unit and regression testing
· Liaise with internal development teams to troubleshoot software
problems and identify solutions
· Overnight and weekend support, when necessary
· Vendor management and communication between users and vendors
· Adheres to company IT security and other relevant policies
Required Skills and Competencies:
· 5-10 years providing front-line application support for portfolio
management and trading systems
· Solid technical background analyzing, testing, or developing
client-server based and web-based products
· Strong knowledge of:
o SQL Server programming including stored procedures, functions,
views, etc.
o Visual Studio tools
o SQL Management Studio
o Visual Basic/.NET/Java
o MS Access
o Advanced Excel (including VBA)
· Familiarity with investment, fixed income and financial markets
preferred
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Math, Engineering,
or Sciences preferred or Relevant Experience
