Position Responsibilities Summary
The Enterprise Architect will work closely with business users and IT teams
to design and implement an enterprise architecture to support the needs of
the business. He will discover, analyze and develop reusable assets that can
be leveraged via a SOA implementation and promote the adoption of these
reusable assets. He will provide technical and thought leadership in both
system integration as well as application development and promote best
practices in these areas. Strong communication skills will be needed to
develop and nurture working relationships with both business users and
technical teams to ensure smooth integration between systems.
This is an Architect Role, but it requires strong hands on coding work as
well.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· 5+ years experience in an architecture role
· Strong presentation, verbal and written communications skills
· Strong interest in current and emerging technologies
· Strong team player
· Hands-on experience with medium to large-scale web applications
· Hands-on experience with databases from an application development
perspective. Oracle is preferred.
· Experience with data modeling and enterprise data management
· Experience with stress testing applications
· Excellent understanding of SOA and the WS-* standards
· Experience with an ESB. Tibco is preferred.
· Hands-on experience with J2EE or .Net technologies

Position Responsibilities Summary
The Sr. Contracts Manager will provide expertise in the
drafting/development, negotiation and management of complex technology
related contracts. These contracts include application licensing,
development, maintenance and support, IT consulting services, as well as

Key Responsibilities;
· Developing, negotiating, and managing technology contracts,
including those with significant complexity and risk or potential liability

· Managing multiple contracts simultaneously and providing ongoing
service level delivery
· Communicating on a continuous basis with internal clients by
providing project status and analysis throughout contract development and
negotiations
· Reducing expenditure levels through contract negotiations
· Coordinating, developing and managing the RFP/RFI process and
facilitating the analysis, evaluation of proposals and recommendations by
the RFP team
· Managing assigned contracts during and after negotiations to
ensure compliance by the contracting parties
· Working with vendors and internal clients to identify and research
problems relevant to contractual obligations and developing corrective
action plans to resolve.
· Improving quality, service, and vendor accountability, and helping
develop alternate sourcing strategies
Keys to This Position:
1. Strong skills negotiating contracts with IT professional services vendors
as well as hardware and software vendors/licenses.
2. An understanding of the entire procurement process.
3. We are looking for a collaborative, diplomatic and innovative
individual.
4. Needs to come out of a large, complex IT mission critical
environment.
Required Skills and Competencies:
· Seven or more years experience in technology (IS) related contract
negotiations
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contract negotiations
· Strong problem solving techniques, ability to clearly communicate
issues, status of negotiations and ideas to internal clients
· Strong negotiation and communication skills are fundamental
requirements of the role
· A Bachelor's degree, is required; advanced academic credentials
(such as an MBA or JD) would be viewed favorably
· Strong knowledge of business law as it relates to IS contract
issues would be considered highly desirable in this role
