Senior Project Manager in any of the following locations; Shelton CT,
Ft. Washington PA, Scranton, PA, Newark NJ, Woodbridge NJ

Responsibilities:
The senior IT project manager will be responsible for leading and
managing the deliverables and team within AIT to deliver technology
solutions for the annuity business. They will coordinate and
facilitate all activity within AIT and work in conjunction with the PMO
to ensure successful delivery of their projects or programs.
Qualifications:
At least 10 solid and concurrent years as a senior IT project
manager/program manager leading major strategic technology
projects/programs within financial services industry. Annuities
background is ideal but not required.
Passion for leading and managing major change programs – career minded
and oriented to this role
Strong track record of leading successful major change
projects/programs from start to finish as the lead IT Project Manager
Ability to think strategically (big picture) and tactically in regards
to project planning, scoping, budgeting, and quality. This in terms of
the admin. deliverables and working in conjunction with the business,
PMO and portfolio manager.
Responsible for leading projects with budgets of at least $1MM in spend
and with duration of at least 12+ months
Has worked within an IT PMO – has understanding and appreciation of
processes/procedures and governance required to lead large projects and
programs
Leading large teams in a matrix environment consisting of various types
of roles and skill sets
Ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings in an effective manner
Ability to deal with tight timelines, limited resources and still
deliver on time and within scope
Ability to lead several projects at once that have a common strategic
goal
Formal training in project management methodology is required
PMI PMP Certified
Soft Skills:
Ability to clearly articulate issues/challenges/risks in a clear and
concise manner to stakeholders at all levels
Flexible leadership style
Extremely detail oriented; ability to summarize and effectively
communicate and present to senior leaders
Excellent Communicator - verbal, written and presentation skills
Persistence, dedication, and ability to lead multiple projects at the
same time
Excellent people and relationship skills
Strong influence and team building skills in a matrix environment
Ability to resolve conflict while keeping relationships intact
Keen ability to lead cross functional teams in a matrix environment.
Technical Skills Required:
Excellent ability at using the following tools - MS Project, MS Word,
MS Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
Schedule:
100% onsite presence in any AIT location
Minimal travel may be required on occasion.
