Job Description

Our client, located in Somerset County, NJ, is a world-leading provider of
innovative solutions for the pharmaceutical, OTC and health and nutrition
industries, and is currently seeking a talented SAP Center Of Excellence
Finance Manager to join their team.

The SAP Finance Manager reports to the Senior Director of Global
Applications and is responsible for the management and maintenance of the
Company's SAP finance application(s). In this role, the Manager is
responsible for ensuring that the SAP system meets business needs by
gathering requirements, identifying best practices, developing process and
system designs, configuring the software, testing/validating the
functionality, training super users and implementing the solution.

The role has two main responsibilities. One to manage daily operational
needs and implement ongoing business and system improvements within the SAP
Center Of Excellence. The other is ownership of the Global SAP Financials
Template and in this function ensure the proper further deployment of this
template in the Organization.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS

During the initial period (6 months), job responsibilities include:

* Under the direction of the Senior Director Global Applications,
establish the SAP Center Of Excellence in collaboration with Third Party
Vendor. Implement policies and procedures that ensure transparent processes
to system defect resolutions. As well as together with key stakeholders,
super users, and end-users, implement clear processes for system
enhancements that benefit the business community.
* Ownership of Global SAP Financials Template to provide oversight to
ongoing and future SAP projects.

Ongoing Responsibilities:

* Manage the operation, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade
and support of corporate IT finance application(s) with clear change control
governance and procedures.
* Work with key stakeholders and end users to effectively determine
needs, define business and system requirements.
* Manage the installation of new programs or releases, including
initial testing and software validation per approved protocol before
authorizing version release to users; ensure all discovered defects are
corrected.
* Manage and report status of the COE and/or Projects to Management.
* Support and/or Lead large to small projects.

" Ability to quickly understand the architecture and design of complex technology solutions.

" Staying abreast of current technologies through all available resources including Internet, trade publications, and/or user groups/associations.

" Mentoring of junior engineers/technicians as needed.

Qualifications:

" 7+ years experience delivering technical solutions (from pre-sales through implementation) and/or support to external clients.

" Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 Certified (MCSE/MCITP) with extensive experience with Microsoft products: Windows XP/7/2000/2003/2008 Server, Office, IIS, SQL Server.

" Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003/2007/2010

" Strong knowledge of SAN storage solutions (EMC, Equallogic/Compellent, NetApp, HP/Lefthand, IBM).
