I just wanted to send out a position that just came in today with a client of ours for a Partner / AP / Principal with a Finance Transformation (not business transformation) background, specializing in the Industrial sector including automotive, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, energy, utilities, electronics, basically anything that has a factory or a smoke stack. This person will be responsible for business development and delivery of Finance Transformation engagements into those industries. 50% of the time will be focused on Business Development, the other 50% will be focused on being billable delivering CFO advisory services including Finance Operations, Finance Process, Finance organization and Finance Technology transformation engagements. The Compensation target on this is in the $425K + range with uncapped earning potential. I wanted to network with you and see if you know of anyone who would be a good fit for this role. PARTNER / ASSOCIATE PARTNER - FINANCE TRANSFORMATION PRACTICE
Location: Can be based anywhere in the US

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of current experience selling AND delivering Finance Transformation engagements into external customers
8+ years of current experience being billable on Finance Transformation Engagements
5+ years of current experience involved in business development and /or sales of Finance Transformation engagements into companies in the Industrial sector including Aerospace, Defense, Manufacturing, Electronics, Chemical, Petroleum, Oil/ Gas, automotive, or anything with a smoke stack!
Track record of being involved in closing at least $2M in new business annually for the last 4 years
Prior experience working for a top tier, big 4 or boutique firm that specializes in delivering Finance Transformation engagements
Finance Transformation engagement experience includes: CFO advisor services in operations, organization, process, and technology transformation
Experience developing relationships with CFO's and VPs of Finance at Industrial companies (we are not looking for someone who focuses on the finance industry
ability to travel up to 4 days / week to customersPLUSSES

The selected Associate Partner / Partner will be split their time 50% between business development activities and 50% involved in billable CFO advisory activities such as project scoping, roadmapping, finance operations improvement, Finance and accounting process improvement and optimization, and technological optimization and improvement transformation services. They will be responsible for meeting goals of selling between $3-6M in new Finance Transformation engagements within the Industrial sector annual, and will have matrixed oversight of cross functional teams they put together to deliver finance operations transformation, finance process transformation, finance organizational transformation and technology transformation engagements to companies within the automotive, electronics, aerospace, defense, chemical, pharmaceutical, industrial, manufacturing, oil / petroleum, etc industries. We are not looking for someone who delivers finance
transformation services into the financial services industry, nor are we looking for someone who has only provided finance transformation services in-house for their employer. This person MUST have experience working for a professional services consulting firm that specializes in Finance Transformation services.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSES THE FOLLOWING:

A well written resume that clearly demonstrates their current experience working for a top tier professional services management consulting firm specializing in Finance Transformation, and includes annual amounts of new business sold each year, as well as details on engagements they were billable on and helped deliver.
A good natured personality (This is not a company for grand egos, everyone must play nice in the sand box regardless of who they think they are! - Respectfulness is key!)
Ability to team with cross functional teams within the management consulting organization (ie.. Technology, Process, Industrial specialists, account managers) to help grow new business and deliver successful engagementsCOMPENSATION
$200-300K base salary + bonus (targeted at 40%) + exceptional full benefits package, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and more
