Responsibilities
● Act as liaison between the Company's Accounting operations and the Company's
Executive Team, Procurement Department, Sourcing Department, Sales Department, and Treasury Department
● Execute day-to-day Accounting operations
○ Revenue recognition - customer invoices, discounts, rebates, and payment receipts
○ Oversee COGS and SG&A payables processing initiated by Accounting support staff
○ Process payables cash outflows in Accounting and Treasury modules
○ Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
● Interact directly with the Executive Team to implement change and build processes for our growing organization
○ Drive Accounting system migration from Quickbooks to SAP Business One
● Financial planning, analysis, and reporting - develop recommendations for Company action
○ Monthly "key metrics" reports
Previous Work Experience
● Deep proficiency with General Ledger systems
● Extensive knowledge of GAAP accounting policies
● 5-10 years of accounting experience
● Experience working within international operations and high growth companies
● Experience with relational databases
Qualifications
● Hard Skills
○ Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
○ Excellent Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Outlook, and Word
● Soft Skills
○ Superb verbal and written communication skills - demonstrated ability to structure logical arguments in verbal and written presentations

Summary:
The Capture Manager works as part of an integrated business development team overseeing business acquisition activities on large pursuits. This role is responsible for the management of all activity required to develop and execute strategy, assemble resources, manage the process, and ensure quality proposals are delivered and business development activities result in capture. The role requires a seasoned and effective manager and communicator who understand our business lines serving the Federal government. This role also requires a motivated self-starter with advanced critical thinking skills and an ability to gain internal commitments, to follow through on managing the process, and to ensure on time, quality delivery from supporting resources.
The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience capturing contract awards with US Army and other DoD customers. He/She is familiar with a variety of customer projects, practices, and procedures and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The Capture Manager should have the ability to lead and direct the work of others as required. A wide degree of creativity, latitude, and self-motivation is expected. This position reports to the VP of Sales & Marketing.
Qualifications:
* Track record Capturing Large Pursuits($100M+
* Thorough knowledge of strategy and capture process
* Excellent understanding of US Army Acquisition and Government contract vehicles
* Excellent communication and writing skills, and be both technical and analytical
* Self-motivated with a great sense of urgency and follow-through
* Strong capture experience, and confidence in ability to plan and execute a winning capture effort.
* Strong relationship building skills who can quickly earn the respect of the team and customers
* Prepare and maintain the capture plan and schedule, and secure BD approval of the plan, including interim approvals as the schedule evolves
* Make presentations as appropriate to corporate and executive review teams
* Develop pre-RFP requirements
* Identify potential BD risks and develop avoidance and mitigation strategies
* Assemble and manage the direction of the core capture team (internal and external).
* Results and goal oriented
* Travel required
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree Required
* 5-10 years experience
* Army technical background a plus
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
* Capture Management Training a plus
* Shipley Associates Proposal Management a plus
