The next meeting of the Monsey JobSearch WorkGroup will take place on
Tuesday June 4 from 6:00-9:00 pm at Community Synagogue of Monsey, 89 W
Maple Avenue, Monsey, 10952 - Parking on Mountain behind Synagogue(note the
new venue).
Please respect the congregation dress code: Shirts and Long pants for men
and elbow sleeved Blouses Skirts/Dresses for women (business casual).
Our event is titled: "Knock-Out Networking! How to land more prospects, more
referrals, and more interviews!"
We are grateful that the accomplished speaker, Mr. Michael Goldberg, has
accepted our invitation to come and share his expertise with us. Michael is
a skilled instructor, professor and author of the book titled:
ef=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1368830592&sr=1-4&keywords=michael+goldberg>
Knock-Out Networking!
Michael will be speaking to us about the vital activity of "Networking",
which is how most of us will likely land our next position. It will also
help us to keep our positions once we get them and as a bonus, teach us to
communicate more effectively in all venues.
Michael is a dynamic speaker who will discuss with us the why, where and
most importantly, the how of networking.
Michael Goldberg's programs are responsible for hundreds of thousands of
dollars of increased revenues, retention, and employment opportunities.
Described as a "spark plug" by clients, Michael is a master at invigorating
and engaging audiences with his "knock-out" style and approaches to
generating sales. Michael helps sales producers, wholesalers, and managers
learn and apply "real world" information about networking and referral
marketing.
The skills he will teach us are required by everyone: employed, unemployed
or under-employed.
Since Michael has to travel a long way, he has asked that we schedule a
significant event which will last for three hours. This time will be VERY
well spent. (Don't worry, refreshments will be served!)
Michael will be imparting to us information and techniques that large
companies spend thousands of dollars for.
Following this event, we will be sending a survey mailing to the
participants asking how to best organize our group for the future.
Michael's talk will build on our last talk by Ed McCabe on the entire job
search process.
Please share this email with anyone who would be interested in
participating. Be sure to bring business cards and resumes.
We look forward to seeing you.
Thanks,
The Monsey JobSearch WorkGroup
P.S. Please register for this event so we can reserve an appropriately sized
room.

Please register so we provision the room with enough seats.
We hope to see you there and please tell your friends.
Monsey Jobsearch Group
P.S. On a personal note. The people that I know who actually saw his
presentation were blown away by it. Rather than hearing another talk about
the importance of networking, Michael discusses the practical "How to" of
networking. What do you do in a room filled with 50 or 100 other people?
Also, his talk is dynamic and participatory (I wont give more details about
what I personally saw) so as to get the audience involved and practicing.
Hope to see you there.
My thanks to Aron Morgulis for providing this information.
