Responsibliities
* Manage complex projects thru the software development lifecycle development (inception thru implementation). Responsible for planning and conducting meetings that may include the following: walkthru, JAD, client calls, application design calls, Implementation/Implementation Planning, Integration Testing calls, and executive calls.
* Ensure IT projects have a sound plan and implement as planned. Develop and maintain detailed project plans in conjunction with IT and business partners including significant cross IT and business dependencies.
* Insure that large cross IT and business teams are aligned on approach and timeline and fully understand cross org dependencies critical to the success of the program and effectively communicate same.
* The PM will perform risk management and mitigation planning and execution. The PM will prepare and deliver program management status reporting. Ensure that tracking tools are updated and maintained to reflect correct and current status.
* PM will ensure that all issues/defects are addressed in a timely fashion. Control all scheduling and scheduling dependencies for projects under ownership. Plan and lead cross org and executive-level program discussions on a regular basis. Act as a change agent to ensure the right solutions are implemented.
Required skills:
• Expert in MS Office & MS Project.
• Excellent communications skills (both oral and written)including communication with executive management.
• Ability to design and prepare executive-level presentations.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask
• Experience managing complex IT projects across multiple IT and business organizations.
• Produce project meeting notes & actions and drive resolution of project issues.
• Proven ability to manage and mitigate risk.
• Ability to understand technical and business operational processes and issues.
