Sales Director for the Americas[Analytical Instrumentation] based
out of Pittsburgh, PA area. Responsible for selling product used in
petro-chemical plants or oil and gas facilities...could sell to Architectural
& Engineering firms that construct or modify the plant facilities.
Three Regional Sales Managers, who manage key accounts and channel partners,
report to this position. Position manages a lab that handles service,
repair and calibration facilities as well. Will not be hands on sales as
much as coach and mentor; create structure to improve sales and impact on
customer. Successful candidate will be a leader, a visionary to manage
team to build sense of ownership and accountability to grow the business.
Requirements:
· Proven success in managing multiple
Regional Sales Managers
· BS Technical degree, MBA would be a
plus
· Track record of results
· Five years or more experience in sales
of process analytical products is desired, three year's experience is
required.
· Should have previous experience with
inside sales support, direct field sales and/or representative sales.
Responsibilities:
· Train and coach leaders in sales and
service teams.
· Direct sales forecasting activities and
sets performance goals.
· Develop strategic plans for BU Sales
department
· Drive changing the sales team zeitgeist
from account maintenance to sales growth.
· Establish a culture that is results
focused as well as focused on customer service.
· Train, coach, and motivate the sales
team to effectively win target accounts from competition
· Provide strategic information regarding
product, market, technology, and business position to corporate team.
