Description

Aerospace Market Development Manager

We are seeking a business development manager for a specialty interiors material manufacturer in Middlesex County MA. This is a ground-up, vertical market development opportunity for you to make your mark and grow with an established, well-funded private company supremely interested in penetrating the Aerospace interiors market. Incumbent has developed the requisite products and been promoted to new role. Our client is anxious to onboard someone who can bring in the sales dollars.
If you bring a technical degree (chemistry preferred), Aerospace OEM sales experience, and a strategic business development mindset, this just might be the position for you! Compensation: $100-125K plus benefits. Relocation possible for the right candidate.
This position will report to VP of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities:

* Leverage your contacts and our client's products to develop and build the Aerospace business; ring up sales!
* Conceive, implement, and manage a strategic sales and marketing plan
* Develop and build the Aerospace Market Team
* Respond to project issues; elevate through appropriate channels as required
* Identify new product requirements and communicate compellingly to the company
* Coordinate professionally with other company managers for effective resource utilization, allocation and development
* Exhibit team spirit; communicate regularly and professionally
* Perform or coordinate customer and company product testing where necessary

Skills Requirements and Experience:

* Technical degree required - Chemistry preferred
* Experience with casting, coating or extrusion of films required
* Experience with aerospace customers required; Commercial/Private, Tier One, OEM and Airlines-contacts preferred
* Excellent presentation and communication skills required
* Knowledge of FAA 25.853 and Fire Retardant materials preferred
