Network Engineer - IPT/WAN/LAN
2 Positions - Must Have strong Cisco IPT skills along with LAN/WAN
experience.
The primary role of WAN/IPT Implementer is to assume a position in Global
Network Services with a primary focus of design, installation, and support
of our global WAN network. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong
interest in the multiple facets of internetworking technologies and its use
in solving business challenges and will work under minimum supervision.
Technologies include but would not be limited to Routers, WAN Protocols,
BGP, MPLS, Frame Relay, Point to Point, UVN - SONET, Local Voice, 800
Service, ISDN PRI, IP Telephony
Responsibilities include:
. Be a key team member in projects, working with the Integrators and/or
Project Managers to ensure that projects are on time, within budget, and in
agreement with client expectations. Strong contributor to project planning

. Design and execute complex technology LAN/WAN solutions. Support very
complex portions of the projects or infrastructure. Work independently;

. For new, complex solutions where high level blue prints are not available,
raise to the attention of the Architecture team
. Work with diverse teams and cultures to achieve organizational goals.
. WAN/IPT analysis and make recommendations, project scope/approaches,
budget & implementation recommendations & actions.
. Mentor new or less experienced employees as needed.
. Develop and maintain project documentation and hand off documents to
Operations Team.
. Contribute towards global IT network domain and to keep team updated on
latest IT framework development.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide Day 1 Project Support. Work closely with other diverse teams as well
as vendors to minimize business impact due to network outage. Depending on
the issue may need to work longer hours to restore service as well as bridge
with other team members overseas. Manage communications and expectations

Required Qualifications

This is a Noon to 9PM shift
Sr. Network Engineers perform complex technical analysis of network
software, hardware, routers, switches, and various transmission systems
using a variety of diagnostic tools in support of efficient network
operations. They resolve network-related issues of a diverse scope and are
sought out to identify and resolve escalated problems. Sr. Network Engineers

Summary
Our client is seeking an Middleware Associate Architect who will be involved
in the analysis and design phase of integration projects and help to manage
