This is a fulltime role in NYC with Financial Services.
Skills: Java Development
Must have exp with Front Office.
This position requires candidates with creative ideas, strong personal initiative and work ethic to solve a variety of programming problems involved in implementing a system from front to back. Software developers must be self-driven, able to multitask and continually find areas for improvement and optimization.
Responsibilities:
Design and build new web based applications to deliver fixed income analytics
Improve and optimize existing infrastructure
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
7 years of experience developing J2EE services or application.
Minimum 2 years of experience implementing REST services based on Database frameworks (JAX-RS, JPA/JDO).
Minimum 1 years of experience with Java Frameworks (e.g. Struts, Spring, or similar).
Outstanding programming skills in server-side Java
Experience developing java based web applications
Experience with WebSphere Application Server a plus
Web Services experience a plus
Scripting skills (shell, perl, etc.) and C programming skills a plus
Experience developing large software applications a plus
Must be comfortable working in a Linux environment
Good communication skills .
