TCN's January 26th meeting will proudly present Career Coach Alex Freund,
with a presentation/guided discussion entitled:
"GETTING YOURSELF A JOB: HERE'S HOW!"
This audience-interactive presentation explains and demonstrates various
aspects of job hunting. Just a few examples are the resume, the interview,
how to read the interviewer's body language, how the hiring decision gets
made, certain influencing factors, why so many facets of the job search are
counterintuitive, and what it takes to be more credible during the
interview. The presentation will of course contain much more.

Alex Freund, the "landing expert," supports job seekers into employment. He
is known for making people feel comfortable when interviewing. Alex is an
effective and successful career and interviewing coach. He is prominent in
several on- and off-line job-search networking groups, and conducts
workshops on effective resume development and the use of LinkedIn in the
job-search process. Alex has been teaching a career development seminar for
several years, and publishes a blog designed especially for job seekers.
Prior to his current position, Alex managed several large departments in
two Fortune 100 companies. Alex maintains and publishes a free directory of
job-search networking groups via his web site at

Alex is a Cornell University graduate, has lived on three continents and
speaks five languages.
