In this role, you would be part of the a member of the professional services team who can understand the overall integration points from a BI products/tools perspective. You should have a broad set of knowledge with BI tools and framework, as well as process the technical skills necessary to participate in the selling, design and delivery of professional services projects in the software security industry. The Software Security Specialist, sometimes also known as the Security Integration Architect, must be capable of working independently without supervision. You must also be capable of supervising and advising more junior Integration Engineers, as well as be capable of playing crucial roles on mid to large size projects of critical importance to the Division. The Software Security Specialist should be able to both recognize and help exploit business opportunities and be actively involved in business development. You should be able to apply the IB Professional Services Project Management Guidelines (PMG) and the project management tools and techniques utilized to support the PMG. This experience should translate to the visioning and architectingof solutions consistent with and supporting the plans for the projects they are involved in. The Security Integration Architect is responsible for customer satisfaction and the development of long-term customer relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participate in pre and post sales consulting engagements incorporatingWebFOCUS Security technologies
- Architect, design and implement WebFOCUS solutions based on Java, J2EE and/or .Net technologies as well as in depth knowledge of HTML/JavaScript
- Conduct architecture/design reviews, assessments and gap analysis as required
- Be technical lead for customer engagements
- Mentor and train customer staff
- Work closely with the WebFOCUS Security Product Division to keep abreast of current product developments and enhancements.
- Develop a working knowledge of and comply with the IB PMG as well as help to make sure it is followed; includes timely completion of required paperwork
- Must submit weekly status reports
- Process in complete and timely fashion TDATAforms to track hours, expense reports, and other required forms as defined by IB guidelines
- Must be willing and able to travel as necessary

In this role of Business Development Manager, you would be a member of the Professional Services Division responsible for identifying and building relationships with clients that will result in the sale of IB business and technology consulting services. The User Interface Specialist must be capable of creating and delivering a status report to Information Builders and client management, as well as be capable of supervising and advising more junior BI/UI developers on small to mid size projects. You should be experienced in applying the IB Professional Services Project Management Guidelines (PMG) and the project management tools and techniques utilized to support the PMG. This experience should translate to the development of project plans for the projects you manage. You should be able to both recognize and help exploit business opportunities and be actively involved in business development, as well as be responsible for customer satisfaction and the development of long-term customer relationships. Finally, you will sometimes need to participate in estimating a WebFOCUS solution during the sales cycle.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Provide analysis, design and leadership consulting services to clients using the Information Builders core product line (FOCUS/WebFOCUS) which include the core features and capabilities of reporting, Dialogue
- Ability to create WireFrames
- Demonstrate the ability to install and configure Developers Studio.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of Reporting Server administration and configuration. Must understand the relationships of Server configuration to application development Must be able to create diagnostics for problem resolution such as traces and savediags.
- Demonstrate the ability to mentor both developers and client staff in proper WebFocus
- Ability to conduct a needs assessment and analysis with the client to gather their requirements and determine those factors that will result in a successful application design.
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively architect and design medium to large applications, including but not limited to overall design, user interface, reports, launch pages, background processes, and configuration requirements of Reporting Server to support the design based on the requirement set forth with the client.
- Recognize and help exploit business opportunities and pass the appropriate information to branch or regional management.
- Display a working knowledge of Database Management Systems, relational/SQL
- Ability to estimate medium to large projects.
- Help customers and Consultants understand best practices for building effective Portals.
- Develop working knowledge of multiple operating systems and display an ability to learn others.
- Continue to expand and develop skills in IB products and operating systems, and, when applicable to business needs, database management systems and associated client tools.
- Develop a working knowledge of and comply with the IB PMG as well as help to make sure it is followed. This includes timely completion of required paperwork.
- Must submit weekly status reports.
- Process in complete and timely fashion TDATA
- Must be willing and able to travel as necessary.
- Must be well groomed and dress in neat, professional business attire.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor
- Minimum of three (3) years previous experience developing and designing Business Portals, which includes UI/UX design
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience working with WebFOCUS
- Significant experience in Web development.
- Experience with UI/UX web design
- GUI tool or other front-end technology.
- Exposure to multiple Database Management Systems, with exposure to SQL based DBMS'
- Expertise in a recent version of WebFOCUS.
- Demonstrated proficiency with multiple operating systems.
- Experience with creating Wireframes.
- Ability to create application prototypes.
- Experience with HTML, HTML5 and JavaScript
- Experience with JQuery and
- Experience with CSS3 and Mobile Query.
- Ability to write solid documentation that supports the architecture and project management effort.
- Experience in applying project management principles via formal methodology, and using the associated tools and techniques.
- Sound customer relations skills and the ability to work with demanding clients.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
