CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER - SECURE COMMUNICATIONS FOR THE MOBILITY WORLD
Location: NJ
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7+ years of current Product Management experience focused on the development of secure mobile / mobility apps / applications
- Proven Product Management success in taking a mid-stage start up to IPO
- Experience working for a larger more established secure communications products company
- Solid product strategy both on the technical and design sight within the secure communications space (mobility apps, chat, voice, text, email, video, data transfer etc)
- Extremely solid experience in a senior product management role focused on secure communications products
- Experience managing a team of product managers and growing that team
- Exceptional communication skills with a solid ability to effectively communicate and present business cases to investors, analysts, developers, customers, sales, marketing, and work with PR and Media Relations.
- Must have both Macro and Micro views of Product Management of Secure Communications products
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Chief Product Officer will lead a product management team of 5+ and will be growing that team over the next year significantly. This is one of our fastest growing teams. S/he will be responsible for executing product strategy as well as helping to guide and develop the product strategy as our company grows and develops. We are looking for someone who has both a very strong hands-on technical product management, and product design background with both macro and micro view points of how the product lines need to grow and develop to best serve customers and remain the top ranked secure communications platforms globally. We are looking for a true Rock Star in this world, Someone who has has punched their tickets and had the successful experience of taking a mid-level start up organization to IPO from a Product Management perspective, but also someone who has had the experience of working for a larger organization and understands where they are going and taking a start up.
The ideal candidate will have grown up in Product Development and have touched on all cross functional pieces including market research, sales, training, messaging, development, customer research, strategy development and execution, communications, people / team management and product growth and adaptation, coming up with innovative and cutting edge features and functionality that are always at LEAST a step ahead of the competition.
You must be highly team focused, and collaborative. You must have experience working in a mid-level start up environment and understand and have lived the face paced culture, wearing many hats and enjoying the successes while working to avoid any pitfalls.
