Title: Group Director of Human Resources
Reports to: Group General Manager (CEO)
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Salary: $140K (DOE)
The Schegg Group is seeking an HR Business Partner for a premier provider of advanced technology products to the world's leading electronics companies.
The organization is spread across 30 countries with over 50,000 employees in 100 facilities.
This is a great opportunity to join a prestigious company and serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership of multiple operating groups.
ROLE:
As a strategic HR business partner and member of the senior management team, the Group HR Director will align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and ensure that Human Resource plans and programs support operating goals.
This individual will serve as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues; will act as employee champion and change agent.
The ideal candidate maintains an effective level of business literacy: financial position, plans, culture and competition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Partner with Group General Manager and Line Management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
* Functionally manage / direct the human resources staff and department budget.
* Establish and maintain effective administrative processes. Serve as the principle custodian for all personnel, medical and other HR-related documents.
* Interface with Corporate Headquarters. Provide various census, benefits and general human resources information to HQ. Obtain approval, as required, for actions such as wage increases, salary grades, promotions, insurance rates, severance, etc.
* Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Act as a resource where employees can go with grievances, personal problems, etc. for confidential assistance.
* Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required.
* Provide day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
* Provide a range of career planning and development tools to employees.
* Oversee performance evaluation system; ensure consistent/accurate assessments & ratings.
* Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
* Formulate, interpret and administer personnel policies and procedures. Provide HR Policy guidance. Know and follow Company practices, policies and procedures.
* Manage and oversee the administration of compensation & benefits plans. Establish internal measurements to ensure cost effectiveness, accurate administration, quality service and compliance to applicable regulations.
* Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, transfers.
* Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning. Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
* Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of talent development initiatives including talent recruitment, training & development, succession management planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of 8 - 10 years' experience in an international human resources role.
* Excellent client management, consulting, and business literacy skills.
* Ability to develop strong trusting international relationships to gain support and achieve results globally.
* Working knowledge of all HR disciplines including compensation/benefits, organizational design, employee/union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
* Effectively envision, develop, and implement new strategies to address competitive, complex business issues.
* Strong conflict management skills with proficiency in the resolution of complex employee relation issues.
* Manage multiple business units in multiple locations and multiple competing priorities.
* Take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Strong leadership and training capabilities.
* Must be a self-directed, hands-on manager with achievement drive.
* Relevant industries experience a plus.

client to implement new regulatory requirements in their systems. This
involves changing existing websites, web services and data models to
implement new regulatory requirements of the market and build any new web
services to support new business functionality.
This .Net Developer will have the ability to quickly understand existing
systems and modify existing applications to support new functionality.
Proficiency in C# (or equivalent) programming, SQL programming and data
modelling and web programming (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). Use SDIII job
description if more details are requested.
Physical Attendance is a requirement for this job.
The client site offers: game room, Dual 24" monitors, Lounge areas and open
patios
The environment has teams with dedicated (QA, BA, PM, Developer Ops, Leads,
