Whathappened? The interview went extremely well, in many cases, it could not havegone better. So why were you discounted as a viable candidate? Theanswer is actually quite simple. Themost important thing to remember about really big sales is that you only play asmall part in the selling. The real selling goes on when you are not there, whenthe people you sold to go back and try to convince the others. The better you prepare your internalsponsors, the easier it will be for them to convince others. In short, if the interviewer cannot sell youto their boss, they will not present you to their boss. Why does this situation exist? Simple:Most candidates limit themselves to only three pieces of sales documentationduring their job search: resume, cover letter and thank-you letter, and allthree are usually in the wrong format. Lloydwill discuss the eight pieces of sales documentation that he teaches hisclients to provide during interviews to Out-Document Your Competition. Pleaseregister at: www.chempharma.net.
