ROLE SUMMARY:
Charles River Product Specialist \ Business Analyst:
Responsible for working with internal end-users to develop, configure and customize Charles River portfolio management platform. Should be able to leverage prior knowledge of working as part of a team and assist in the global Charles River roll out for Private Banking and Wealth Management. Able to lead the requirements gathering and define functional specifications, analyze and approve development specs based on a solid understanding of how to execute a Charles River implementation and prior exposure to a wide range of securities including Fixed Income, Equities and OTC (SWAPS etc) on Charles River.
At least 4-5 years of Charles River Implementation is a must. Prior experience working with the SWAP module in CRD V9 is a huge plus.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
• Candidate should have knowledge of the trade flow process, i.e. order generation, trading and settlements.
• Extensive knowledge of various modules in Charles River
- 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of Compliance, Trading Workflows
• Strong knowledge of Charles River will be required, with extensive experience in Configuring the manager workbench, blotter, Groups and User privileges, commission and fees, etc.
• Good communication skill, i.e. able to assist the users in articulating their business requirements, helping them defines their objectives. Able to document business and function requirements.
• Excellent interaction with Front Office users like Portfolio Managers and traders. Candidates must have exceptional communication skills, the ability to work directly with various business teams, display creative problem solving skills and the desire to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree. Master's Degree in financial or technical field a strong plus
Understanding of software product development lifecycle
• Strong individual contributor with high motivation, and the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, ability to work with many internal and external parties
Background in portfolio management and trading system applications a strong plus. |
