Position: IT Procurement Specialist
Location:
Duration of Assignment: 6 month contract position
Pay Rate: up to $h/r
The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:
· 3-5+ years of sourcing experience within the IT category with strong background in category management process is required
· Demonstrated ability to individually lead contract drafting and complete negotiation
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· History of influencing for results as an individual contributor working in a matrix reporting environment
· Experience in use of procurement contract management, e-sourcing and other tools
What you’ll be doing:
· Support drafting and negotiation of contracts as required
· Participate in development and execution of RFI’s and RFP’s aligned with local or global sourcing strategies
· Interact with stakeholders and other category team members to execute projects on a timely basis and in line with category plans and business needs
· Identify and communicate opportunities for innovation through ongoing supplier interaction
· Ensure that supplier performance risks and issues are appropriately escalated and/or resolved on a timely basis and with no disruption to business goals
· Align all activities to ensure compliance with all legal requirements, policies and procedures
· Help to drive sourcing best practice adoption and sharing throughout the business
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
