Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Specialist who will work with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and Compensation to perform full cycle recruiting activities including sourcing, interviewing, reference checking, negotiating and extending job offers and coordinating on-boarding for newly hired employees. The Recruiter will be expected to source and develop a pipeline of active and passive job seekers using networking, professional organizations, the internet, direct sourcing and referrals, track progress/metrics and provide regular updates, using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage requisitions, candidates, etc.

This is a 6-month contract position in Cheshire, CT.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 7+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience, either internally or in an executive search setting
* Strong sourcing skills with demonstrated success in networking or building pipelines using advanced internet search methodologies as well as candidate assessment skills
* Specific experience with social networking sites (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) as tools for recruiting activities
* Proven expertise in using a variety of tools to hire top talent
* Strong technical skills, specifically using enterprise Applicant Tracking Systems ATS skills.
* Demonstrated ability to evaluate candidates for cultural fit as well as conduct interviews in a manner that creates a positive experience for the candidates
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent Project Management Skills
* Ability to navigate the organizational/political environment of an organization
* Demonstrated time management expertise and ability to balance multiple priorities
* Formal interview/ selection training experience preferred
* Corporate experience in the biopharmaceutical or related industry preferred.
* Experience in high-growth/fast paced environment highly desirable
