Overview

Our client is seeking a Build Engineer who will develop, plan and maintain
build processes, version control and release schedules across a wide array
of teams, projects, and platforms. The individual will be responsible for
implementing and managing for the progression of changes in the development,
test, and production environments and help improve the software engineering
processes and practices associated with continuously building, deploying,
and updating software and environments, and is ultimately responsible for
the quality of the production release.

This is a Full Time Employee position in Madison, CT

Skills and Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
* Experience in release and configuration management and release
system automation, with great knowledge in software, system, and database
build and deployment methods
* 2-6 years of build and deployment scripting experience
* 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations
environment in systems analysis or development
* Advanced knowledge of scripting and automation techniques.
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work toward task
completion
* Demonstrated effective analytical skills
* Advanced technical written and verbal communication skills
* Must be proficient in Linux
* Work in a complex environment, with multiple operating systems, and
many development efforts
