Multiple openings: Selling into large, Wealth Management/Retail Broker Dealers. Location: NYC but other locations possible* * Other base locations possible with frequent travel to NYC: Philadelphia, Cleveland, Richmond, Atlanta, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Charlotte.
Required: A strong knowledge of back and middle office operations. Preferred: Experience successfully selling (in a quota-driven role) technology solutions to retail broker dealers. NOTE: Career transition potential: Will consider an accomplished operations or middle office leader proven in other roles in the brokerage industry who is interested in a sales career & has relevant attributes (operations/middle knowledge , client services knowledge leadership, technology background, presentations expertise etc.) Our client is the leading provider of investor communications and technology-driven solutions for broker-dealers, banks, mutual funds, and corporate issuers globally. The Senior Director of Sales must have a proven record of success, within the company's market segment, across several areas: · Establishing and building relationships. · Presentation Skills. Must have proven ability to write, develop and maintain sales content and messaging in a professional manner for client consumption; strong and polished presentation skills, to effectively represent the company and its capabilities. · Product Knowledge. Must have strong knowledge of the brokerage industry, specifically back and middle office brokerage operations, and must be able to quickly learn the details of the company's core offering, sufficient to drive client interest, qualify opportunities, grow pipeline and close sales. · Preferred: Directly relevant Product and Target Market quota-based sales. A proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding aggressive yet attainable annual quota targets offering a similar product to broker-dealer clients is a significant plus. Responsibilities: The Senior Director of Sales follows a "Playbook" approach that includes the development of business cases and pricing, utilizing complex internal models. Provides internal direction by recommending enhancements to current product set and business processes. · Identify new business opportunities within existing clients by cold calling and leveraging existing (internal and external) relationships. Market products and services to existing client firms. · Independently oversee and complete all aspects of the sales process, from pre-qualification to completion. The position requires high-level interaction with both client and company senior management. · Lead all relative activities and alignment of required resources across the firm to ensure the successful and timely closing of sales. · Take ownership of all objectives, deliverables and commitments to these clients and internal stakeholders related to the execution of new business. · Help maintain positive relationships with clients by appropriately directing any service, delivery and billing issues. · Develop strategic account plans to identify opportunities to grow pipeline, sell appropriate products and services and maximize revenue. · Maintain a constant awareness of current and planned product development. Keep clients abreast of product information. · Responsible for providing management with all requested sales reports and supporting correspondence, including use of the sales management tool. · Attend trade shows, conferences or industry-related events to help strengthen existing client relationships and develop new ones, remain current on industry issues, increase awareness of competitive offerings, and promote company products and services. · Manage internal resources to provide the necessary expertise and support during the sales process. Qualifications: · BS in business or related field, MBA preferable · Minimum 15 years of experience within the brokerage industry. · Overall knowledge of the financial services, back, middle office and brokerage industry as well as relationships within the RETAIL broker dealer domain with an ability to quickly learn the company product set. · Proven record of success achieving sales quotas by selling technology driven solutions to wealth management broker dealers OR an operational or middle office leader within the brokerage industry who is interested in a sales career and has the attributes needed for success in this role and a track record of accomplishments. · Ability to consistently build a pipeline, effectively forecast and meet quarterly quota assignments. · Ability to develop and maintain relationships. · Must be an excellent time manager, qualifier and negotiator. · Superior written and oral presentation skills are a must. · Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment. · Ability to travel to client sites, up to 50% of the time. Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Test Automation Engineer who will analyze, design,
develop, implement, and execute automated test suites in coordination with
development teams to improve QA environment, ensuring that it matches
production as closely as possible
This is 12-month W-2 Contract role in Danbury, CT.
Skills and Qualifications
* 4-6 years of experience in test automation or general programming
* Experience testing with web services (SOA, SOAP, REST, WDSL/WADL)
* Strong development skill in scripting and using Automation
Frameworks with preference towards Parasoft SOAtest and SoapUI
* Test design for automation with data-driven focus as well as
hands-on testing
* Ability to read or write simple Java code, HTML, JavaScript, Jython,
Python XML, XSD, XPath, etc.
* Good knowledge of database manipulation (e.g SQL) to validate a
process (SQL or non-SQL based)
* Experience with defect tracking system; knowledge of JIRA or RTC a
plus.
* Familiarity with all aspects of testing including functional,
regression, and system testing, and the ability to prepare systems test
plans is highly desired
* Good communication skill
