The position title, would be Account Manager. They will be reporting to two
Partners.
I am looking for a CPA (Masters in Tax a plus) to work in NYC.
Offices are located in the Empire State Building.
This person must have approximately 7+ years of Trust and High Net-Worth
experience, working with complex individuals and high profile clients,
including related companies. This is strictly a tax prepare position, so it
is going to be challenging finding a high level person who is fine just
preparing tax returns, not performing review work. In addition to the 1040
and 1041 work, there are minimal 1120 and small 1065s.
They will also be responsible for estimated tax payments and quarterly
projections.
The clients are interesting.Industries such as Entertainment; Art Galleries;
Art Distributors; Artists; Private Equity.
Must be an Advanced Excel user.
There is no supervision of staff.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as they will
have direct contact with the client.
They must be able to work independently and be a self-starter, a real roll
up their sleeves (soup to nuts tax preparer), handling jobs from start to
finish.
They must also have knowledge of preparing personal financial statements.
Footnotes are minimal.
A Sole Practitioner may be a good fit.
Client is looking to hire ASAP. The second round would be scheduled to meet
in their NYC office.
Hours - 9-5 Monday-Friday (Non Busy-Season)
9-5 Monday-Saturdays (Busy-Season) The Saturdays are from
the end of January - April 15th.
