Applications Development - Personal and Home Care
Our client is a premier specialty materials company, providing
high-technology materials solutions to the silicones, quartz and ceramics

located in more than 100 countries and they support them from 30 production
and research and development facilities around the globe.
Position Overview:
The Application Development position is focused on Silicone Fluid products
in the Personal and Home Care applications. This person works to develop new
business for new and existing products. Understanding the needs of
customers, and establishing long-term relationships with the goal of
delivering creative technical solutions is key in this role. This position
reports to the Global Marketing Manager for these markets and is based in
Westchester County, NY.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain existing and establish new customer relationships with emphasis
on key accounts:
- Conduct appropriate lab work to support customers' technical needs.
- Translate technology/growth opportunities to new geographies/customers.
- Drive specific applications for push products from the existing and new
products portfolios.
- Lead visits to customer sites both independently and in coordination with
the sales organization.
- Educate customers by delivering scientifically-based presentations.
- Help customers with product coding process by working with other Momentive
functions.
- Gather market competitive intelligence including new technologies, market
trends, IP opportunities, etc.
- Provide strategic input for future product developments. Suggest
modifications to existing product portfolio on customer input and market
analysis.
- Perform promotional activities including participation in trade shows and
conferences, and assist in the preparation of sales tools.
- Conduct technical training for distributors, sales force, and new
employees.
- Work effectively and coordinate with counterparts across poles.
- Effective management of multiple projects, ensuring clear alignment of
goals and deliverables with business and market needs.
Required Skills Required Education and Professional Qualifications:
- B.S. degree in chemistry or related field
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
simultaneously and work in a cross-functional team environment.
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in technical service for the personal
care/home care industry preferred.
Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and embrace change
- Teamwork and external focus
- Resourceful and entrepreneurial behavior
- A working knowledge of standard PC applications

As the most senior marketing executive, the Vice President of Marketing will
play an integral role in the strategic direction of Pitney Bowes Small
Business Portal, its design, and its future growth. The VP Marketing will
contribute to design decisions that will influence the success of the portal
for years to come. The VP Marketing will provide leadership and direction
in all aspects related to the commercial success of the portal - including
customer acquisition, channel optimization, customer retention and growth,
and advancing Pitney Bowes brand in this space. As with other members of
the senior management team, the VP Marketing will be held accountable for
the overall success of the portal.
Key Accountabilities:
* Create an inspired vision for Pitney Bowes Small Business Portal;
formulate and manage the objectives necessary to achieve that vision
* Participate in strategic planning to ensure optimal decisions are
being made with respect to the Small Business portal roadmap including but
not limited to enhancement of business model, identification of target
market segments, and prioritization of offerings

Essential Qualifications:
* Experience marketing both B2B and consumer e-Commerce sites
* Expertise in online marketing, search engine marketing optimization,

This position will play a strategic role in the analysis of all click stream data, conversion data, testing data and e-commerce data with an eye on helping the marketing teams optimize acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention efforts. Detailed Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Exhibit a high level of expertise in guiding the data strategy across multiple tactics and work with development to assure data integrity of all aspects of tracking and reporting
Own, manipulate and utilize the selected web analytics tools with a high degree of skill and understanding as it relates to web metrics, site analysis, online business and user segmentation
Create holistic dashboards that help give insight and drive business decision-making
Serve as the on-site web analytics advocate, constantly striving to improve skills with tool sets and within the web metrics space, as well as pushing knowledge to the larger marketing teams.
Work as a vendor liaison to assure proper and expedited implementation
Develop testing plan and platform for testing and then work with product managers to define, design, execute, analyze, and present results to marketing leaders and team members.
Participate in site re-designs and enhancements as a measurements expert, identifying reporting requirements, monitoring the implementation process and evaluating post-launch reporting.
Required Competencies/Skills:
Very strong web and business analysis skills
Highly analytical and detail oriented, with a passion for digging into data to identify key trends, results and critical outcomes
Strong ability to translate, communicate, and distil statistics and metrics into a digestible, actionable marketing framework
Strong initiative – ideal candidate will conceive of research projects/tests and execute based on open business/analysis questions without direct instruction
General working knowledge of basic web technologies is preferred, but not required (SQL, HTML, JavaScript, AJAX , ATG, web platforms, Flash, etc.)
Ability to work with employees at all levels including senior management
Extremely well organized (including good project management skills) and high attention to detail
Leadership skills ability to lead teams of people from a variety of functional areas to reach common project goals
Strong written and verbal communications skills and a demonstrated ability to effectively interact across business functions to deliver effective marketing programs

Sets direction at an operational level, works autonomously in the management of the unit and collaborates with other business heads to establish and execute on common goals.
Direct or manages large-scale applications, programs or projects across multiple product lines, involving significant scope and complexity. Ensures delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project.
Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure meet promised schedules.
Performs risk identification and mitigation activities, escalating unresolved issues to the Executive and / or Steering Committee where appropriate to secure their timely decisions / support.
Manages the acquisition and deployment of resources, including budget, by working with the Project Managers to secure the resources required for the project.
Ensures client satisfaction with the project process and project team by effective and timely communication including status reporting, continual risk/issue assessment/management and escalation, and resolution of issues as they arise.
The successful candidate will be required to work with and influence senior level leaders and partner with other IT Managers.
Manage a team that consists of 50 – 100 people.
SKILLS:
Proven leadership skills and experience managing large and complex IT projects.
Full life cycle development experience
Experience with proven project methodology tools
PMI or ITIL certification
Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint.

Focus on supporting the Flow Volume trading business at the Bank.
The team is supporting applications that are front to back trade entry, Risk Management and trade processing system

The ideal candidate should have technical experience in Java, Perl, Bash and Tibco Technologies.
Skills Required Solid knowledge of the Equity Derivatives Flow products (nice to have but not a must).
