We have a role for a Sr. Managing Director - IT Strategic Consulting Practice.  The ideal candidate will be coming directly out of a Big 4, or Top Tier Management Consulting firm with a strong background in leading IT Strategy engagements into the Distribution and Retail industries. This role is at the 180-220K + 40% bonus level. Thanks for any help you can offer!  All of our other roles are listed at www.topdog-inc.com     Technology Transformation Strategic Consulting  Managing Director Can be located near any major US City REQUIREMENTS: 8+ years of IT Strategy consulting exp involved in business development efforts and delivery of Technology Transformation Engagements. 5+ years exp leading IT transformation engagements in the following areas: IT Strategy, IT Organizational Change, IT Governance transformation, Enterprise Architecture, IT Performance Management and Process Improvement, and/or IT Cost reduction / optimization Experience taking part in the business development efforts closing new business with targeted BD goals / quotas Experience creating IT Roadmaps and understand IT relative to business strategy. Strong Industrial Industry experience consulting into the following sectors: Retail and distribution 4+ years as a Transformation Strategy SME – working with sales teams to help close new business at the C-level Ability to travel up to Mon – Thurs. Current experience working for a top tier Management Consulting firm or Big 4 firm or targeted  boutique management consulting firm RESPONSIBILITIES: The selected candidate will be coming out of a Management Consulting firm with current experience delivering IT strategy consulting services into the distribution and retail industries.  This person will be responsible for the full engagement life cycle from working with the sales teams as a high level IT strategist who is considered an IT Strategy Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will help close business, as well as be the key partner to the customer to work closely with them and develop high end IT strategy transformation engagements, roadmap that strategy to the business objectives of the company and overseeing the delivery of engagements.  The ideal candidate will have strong retail and distribution experience while working for a management consulting firm.  Customer experience should include retail stores, chain stores, discount stores, pharmaceutical stores,  both domestic and international.  Should have experience with multichannel distribution solutions.
