Revised Job Description
Water Bottling Plant – Technical Operations (20-30 hours per week)
Growing water bottling company located in Elmsford, NY seeks experienced professional to join our team on the ground floor, using your skills and abilities to help ensure we meet our production and quality control goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee set up and maintenance of production machinery including break down and change over production water bottling line machinery for various size bottles. Machinery currently consists of, but is not limited to bottle feed unscrambler/depalletizer, liquid filling and capping equipment, labeling equipment, packaging machinery (polypack wrapper), conveyors, water filtration, and ozone system.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical portions of machinery as listed above as well as regular preventative maintenance
• Ensure compliance with GMP's, HACCP, and all state and federal security and quality control regulations and standards.
• In absence of Production Manager, supervision of production line
Qualifications:
• Relevant mechanical and troubleshooting experience
• Electrical trouble shooting experience would be a plus
• Experience in beverage bottling plant
• High sense of urgency
• Awareness of water/food quality control standards and regulations
