Some of the job duties include:
Assist in the capacity of an advisor for machines that are outsourced.
Advisory to management to help in decisions related to Scheduling of
Upgrades, Disaster Recovery tests both traditional and HA (MIMIX), Thorough
understanding of 9406 series hardware and the ability to participate in
studies related to system migrations. Granularity could be either by LPAR
or physical machine. This job as an advisory capacity requires the ability
to navigate through a multifaceted environment consisting of over 70 LPARs
worldwide at various levels of the operating system.
Requirements include a thorough understanding of both logical and physical
machine moves. Administrative and operations abilities for documentation
and procedures manual are a must. Position requires the ability to work
with both internal and external auditors to plan, organize and perform
information technology audits: Including general controls, IT SOX
Compliance, SOX controls.
• Education – Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
• Requires a though understanding of an HA (High Availability environment)
utilizing MIMIX
• Hardware Support and Troubleshooting Experience – 3 to 5 years
• Experience and proficiency with IT equipment and systems
• Windows Server and PC operating systems

Requirement for detail oriented ISeries engineer. Ability to handle
multiple tasks and possess excellent analytical, listening and
communication skills, both oral and verbal; and be able to work
independently as well as collaboratively.
Some of the job duties include:
Assist in the capacity of an advisor for machines that are outsourced.
Advisory to management to help in decisions related to Scheduling of
Upgrades, Disaster Recovery tests both traditional and HA (MIMIX), Thorough
understanding of 9406 series hardware and the ability to participate in
studies related to system migrations. Granularity could be either by LPAR
or physical machine. This job as an advisory capacity requires the ability
to navigate through a multifaceted environment consisting of over 70 LPARs
worldwide at various levels of the operating system.
Requirements include a thorough understanding of both logical and physical
machine moves. Administrative and operations abilities for documentation
and procedures manual are a must. Position requires the ability to work
with both internal and external auditors to plan, organize and perform
information technology audits: Including general controls, IT SOX
Compliance, SOX controls.
• Education – Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
• Requires a though understanding of an HA (High Availability environment)
utilizing MIMIX
• Hardware Support and Troubleshooting Experience – 3 to 5 years
• Experience and proficiency with IT equipment and systems
• Windows Server and PC operating systems
• I-series Client software
• Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Required: Security management knowledge
Preferred Skills, Experience with and knowledge of:
• Active Directory platform
• Microsoft Office products, Outlook
• AS400 Operations – Fluent in CL coding
• Self-reliant and capable of independent work
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of JDE 1 World/JDE World a plus****

This Senior Project Manager position will require communication between business areas, vendors, and IT staff.
