*Location*: Microsoft - 101 Wood Avenue South Iselin, NJ
*Cost*: $ 20.00 for non-members, $ 5.00 for chapter members
*Meeting Summary*
*The Decision Model* (introduced to the public in 2009) is different from
all other business rules approaches. THESE DIFFERENCES ARE NOT BY ACCIDENT.
A lot has happened since 2009. Decision models, created by Business
Analysts, operate in production in corporations around the world, with and
without supporting software. Some organizations established Decision
Modeling centers of excellence. In 2013, the OMG will publish a document on
Decision Model and Notation. (OMG stands for Object Management Group and is
an IT standards group). This means that decision modeling is recognized as
a legitimate discipline and emerging software market.
